This is a combo ear cleaner/ ear treatment solution. We picked this so that we could get our pugs ears clean at the same time as treating them. With having to put so much liquid in, the alcohol in the cleaner portion (we believe) helps everything dry out much better. Our senior pug has BAD sensitivities to Hydrocortisone, so we were very thankful to find a treatment with out it. This product took the full two weeks to work. She had a pretty bad on going yeast infection and always has. We were trying an all natural coconut oil treatment before this and it worked for awhile. So we decided to try this and with lots of prayer, it WORKED! Her ears are clean and no longer itchy, red, swollen or full of yucky stuff. It's gentle and quickly soothing. The liquid has no scent which is nice. We were hoping a week would be long enough but it did take the full two weeks.

I use both this and the regular cortisone formula, depending on the severity of irritation my cat is experiencing; It's best to minimize steroid use, especially when it can be ingested. But this Ear Solution has solved ear problems just as they start and keeps them at bay - even when I had exhausted veterinarian prescriptions for a year and a half. I am so grateful for this product! I have found that if I warm the bottle up in a cup of hot water from the tap with a washcloth holding it submerged (DO NOT MICROWAVE THE BOTTLE) that it lessens the discomfort my cat experiences when I put the drops in. Even room temperature is very cold and icky feeling in the ears - I know from my own personal experience with ear drops - and the cat doesn't cry out anymore. Very glad to have this!

I learned about this product about three years ago when a new kitty entered my life. She has one ear that chronically gets dirty and itchy and waxy. Apparently it is caused by food allergies, no chicken or fish for her! And also hot, humid weather doesn't help and environmental allergies as well. I have been using Zymox, WITHOUT steroid. It works!!!! Cleans her ear, calms the itch. I hear of too many scary stories about steroids, so I stay clear of it. Not necessary in my case

Works, and not dangerous!

I have a water dog, plus she likes to roll around and grow stuff which doesn’t help the ears. Honestly, I need to get around to using the Zymox branch regular ear, cleaning wipes and solution more. I saw it at a pet store recently and thought that prevention is better than a cure but if need a cure, this works really well. It is a go to. Completely avoids vet visits. You don’t have to be consistent, and make sure that your dog ears are dry. And be sure to have a nice clean dry washcloth nearby so you can diligently wipe out the excess for a few minutes each time. Honestly, don’t know what we would do without this product. It’s a really important component of our care kit. I’m very grateful that they make it. it especially hydrocortisone free.

Keeps Ears Clean!

We moved to SETX and my dog's ear has been bothering him. I would clean it but it still seemed to bother him. I started to use this and it stopped the irritation

We moved to SETX and my dog's ear has been bothering him. I would clean it but it still seemed to bother him. I started to use this and it stopped the irritation - literally the next morning they weren't red anymore. At his yearly vet visit, the doc said his ears look great. Highly recommend!
