Zuke's Mini Naturals Real Pumpkin & Turkey Training Treats for Dogs, 5-oz bag

I made this purchase based on the ingredients listed at your website: Turkey, Pumpkin, Rice, Barley, Malted Barley Extract, Vegetable Glycerin, Tapioca Starch Modified, Cherries, Natural Flavor, Potato Protein, Sunflower Oil, Salt, Sunflower Lecithin, Dried Cultured Whey Product, Phosphoric Acid, Turmeric Spice, Vitamin E Supplement, Zinc Proteinate, Citric Acid for freshness, Mixed Tocopherols for freshness. 1B33002. However, the ingredients listed on the bag are: Turkey, rice,oats, glycerine, potatoes, cane sugar, malted barley flour, potato protein, pumpkin, salt, dried cultured whey, citric acid, cherries, natural flavor, vinegar, turmeric spice, vitamin E supplement, zinc proteinate, mixed tocopherols for freshness. B3011323 I'm going to throw these away. I never give my dog sugar and you can see the other differences in the lists of ingredients, but I thought someone at Chewy should know that there's a big difference between what you have listed and what's in and on the bag.

We are a Zuke's household (constantly have the rabbit-flavored mini naturals in my pocket) and this is our second year buying these cute turkey-pumpkin treats. They're slightly larger than the mini naturals but same texture. My Lab absolutely loves them, but then again what doesn't he love to eat? Like other Zuke's treats, these definitely harden and dry out pretty quickly so if I have any left over after a walk, I make sure to put them back into the resealable pouch. We don't let Ned carve his own pumpkins or drink PSLs so these pumpkin treats are his dog-approved fall ritual.

Zukes were the first treats I got for my first puppy and she LOVED them! No potty problems, no sickness, no allergic reactions, just a happy puppy! So when I saw they came out with fall flavored ones I had to jump on it! Because why shouldn’t pups enjoy the taste of fall too?! Bottom line I think my puppy gives them 13/10, she even shares with her puppy cousins :) They are even shaped like little pumpkins y’all!

In previous years I used to stock up on enough bags of these to last until the following fall. They have changed their formula, and none of the changes are good. They used to be very moist, soft, and squishy, perfect for molding into puzzle treats or around medicine. They're now much drier and crumbly. They have a grainy texture and smell odd, and while they used to be my dog's favorite treat she doesn't like the new formula at all. I bought 14 bags without realizing there had been such a drastic change, and 13 of those bags are going to be donated to the local shelter because my dog turned her nose up at them. I looked around and learned that Zuke's changed their formula for all of their Mini Naturals treats similarly, with no plans to revert these changes, which is a real shame because they were my go-to for years. The new formula also has sugar in them which is a big No from me. Went from the star of the treat cabinet to the bottom of the barrel.
