How big is it in inches

Where do you obtain replacement suction cups?

At this time, Zoo Med does not offer replacement suction cups for this product. If the suction cups for your Turtle Dock aren’t sticking to the glass any more, you can try soaking the suction cups in a mixture of hot water and white vinegar. This process should revive them. You can also scrape the water deposits off of the glass to be sure that the suction cups can stick to the glass.

What comes included with the tank ?

Would it stick to a plastic tank?

It is recommended to ensure the plastic is cleaned before attaching the suction cups. There are some types of plastic like the large livestock water tanks that the suction cups will not stick to very well.

I bought it a month ago and I finally open the box today (7/28/25). I’m very disappointed with the product it looks and feels like it was poorly made. It has a waxy coat on it and it’s feels brittle when you touch it. It is also falling apart, when I rub it or touch it these small tiny pieces come off of it. I use to have a smaller floating dock I bought years ago and the quality of that dock is much better than this one that I got. I’m hoping it may have been a situation where the item might have been defective. I would definitely say be cautious when buying this product.

good for musks

I use this basking area for my musk turtle 20 gallon tank. He is around 3 inches and he fits perfectly on the basking area, I haven’t had any problems with it but

I use this basking area for my musk turtle 20 gallon tank. He is around 3 inches and he fits perfectly on the basking area, I haven’t had any problems with it but in the past he used to bite the basking area as it is made out of Styrofoam. He has recently stopped doing that though. It does get a lot of algae on it though but it’s normal. I do recommend this but only for musk turtles as they are small and can handle the weight for the basking area.

I have used these over the years and was confident in my purchase, but when I opened the packaging, I was quite upset. These used to be a much higher quality. I literally received a colored chink of rough porous cut Styrofoam. This is a bacterial nightmare! There were holes in the foam itself that would only be able to be cleaned with a small brush. Right out of the box, one of the outter edges was already chipped and I can tell my terrapins are going to shred this with there nails. This is can only be used temporarily, until I find a better dock.

This is a ok starter dock for our little hatchling. The cost of everything when you first get started really adds up so this dock was at a very good price point

The only down point is that it is just made out of styrofoam and it can VERY easily be eaten. Our hatchling bit a chunk out of it on the first day, but thankfully hasn't touched it again.
