How do you clean the hoses

Is this an inside the tank filter or outside the be tank? If it's an outside the tank filter, can it sit on the same level as the tank or does it need to be lower?

This is an external filter to be placed outside the tank. Be sure that the filter is at the same level of the tank (not below the tank). Do not lay the filter on its side.
Can the 75 gallon filter be used on a 120 gallon tank with only 60 gallons of water in it?

This filter can be used on a larger tank that is filled with 60 gallons of water.
How many gals per hour does this filter?

The 50 gallon model has a 200 gallon per hour (gph) rating. The 75 gallon model has a 265 gallon per hour (gph) rating.
