What wattage should I use for my leopard geckos in a 20L tank?

Leopard geckos are nocturnal and do not require a UVB light, it may be used for day lighting though. We'd recommend a 25 watt bulb at the most in a 5 gallon tank.

Will these be effective in a 40gallon tank enclosure for a beardie?

The 100 or 150 watt basking spot lamp would be more suitable for a bearded dragon in a 40 gallon tank.

Package damage

I got my package on time which was a 75 watt Zoomed basking/uvb bulb. When I arrived home to collect it, the package was beat up, pretty bad. I know this isnt necessarily

I got my package on time which was a 75 watt Zoomed basking/uvb bulb. When I arrived home to collect it, the package was beat up, pretty bad. I know this isnt necessarily a Chewy issue but felt like its worth a mention. Inside was my bulb, it had a layer of thick bubble wrap but was otherwise floating in the beat up box. Luckily the bulb’s packaging itself was pretty much all intact. When I opened the bulb it wasn’t shattered but the bulb already seemed used or like it had erosion on it. Not something you really want to see with anything electric related. It works but Im skeptical on if I should be using it. I only have it on right now because my snake needed a bulb and there had been none in stores for the correct wattage I needed. I like Chewy, Ive used it a few times now, this has been my only poorer experience.

I have been using this product for a while. In fact, ever since I got Lizzie and Jax, my two bearded dragons, and Lili Ann and Pax, my two savannah monitors. Zoomed is a great company! Love them! The only downside is the shipping. Although, I can't really say that, because of the virus, so yes. Great quality! I will buy it again and again. It definitely is the best bulb I have come across in a while.

Dissapointed

I just wanna say I was super happy to see these bulbs on sale because they are so expensive where I live..i used my gift card as well so I only actually paid $27

I just wanna say I was super happy to see these bulbs on sale because they are so expensive where I live..i used my gift card as well so I only actually paid $27 out of pocket which was great. i ordered 3 boxes of two bulbs each.. I've already used them all and all but TWO bulbs have all blown one after another..i only got them a few days ago. I dont really blame chewy to be honest because alot of places and people have been complaining about the bulbs blowing super fast lately. It sucks because these are my favorite bulbs to use. Hopefully zoomed can figure it out and fix them. Super glad the other two havent blown yet as we live in the boonies and it's been snowing like crazy so we are snowed in and I dont want my dragons to be cold. I will say that whoever boxed them up in the chewy box did a fantastic job because they where so sealed in bubble wrap I had trouble on wrapping them. Lol

Worked great

These bulbs are NOT meant to be on 24/7 for reptile use. These work great if used properly! Especially since most places charge $20 for just one of these bulbs!

These bulbs are NOT meant to be on 24/7 for reptile use. These work great if used properly! Especially since most places charge $20 for just one of these bulbs! My tegus appreciate these bulbs! I order Atleast a pack every order I make just to have extra! Proper way to use heat bulbs is to use a white heat bulb like this during day time hours, then switch to a blue or red heat bulb with slightly lower watts for night time usage!

Mixed review

I ordered these 5 months ago, and since then they both burned out. Luckily the warranty on this product is 6 months. I contacted Chewy, and they replaced the product

I ordered these 5 months ago, and since then they both burned out. Luckily the warranty on this product is 6 months. I contacted Chewy, and they replaced the product with no issues. So I am disappointed the product only lasted a few months, but i am pleased that Chewy took care of this with no issues!

Broken bulbs

I order many things for many different animals and typically I get 2 packages. Not this time though sadly my reptile bulbs were put in the same box as a 40lb bag

I order many things for many different animals and typically I get 2 packages. Not this time though sadly my reptile bulbs were put in the same box as a 40lb bag of dog food and a 5lb bag of small animal food so when I opened the box the light bulbs were shattered cause the food bags smoothed them. And glass was all over the box. This was sad to see but expected when fragile things aren't packaged properly

I am very pleased with chewy.com. This was my first order with them. I have 3 bearded dragons and one is only 6 months old so I have to feed her more food that moves lol. I also was very happy to see they have free shipping for orders over $50. I am now a very loyal customer to chewy for as long as I own bearded dragons. I eat sleep and breathe Bearded Dragons so I don’t see myself ever not ordering from chewy. Also the rest of my order is set to arrive within a week of the time I ordered.

You will need the actual lamp that holds the bulb, and unless you've got a set-up with lamps built into the top you'll need a lamp stand. We needed all three, and it's a good set-up. Tortie spends lotsa time in her shallow pool under the lamp. And we often find one of our kitties sitting in her enclosure under the lamp too!
