When I first saw this I laughed at how gimmicky it was. I didn't even want to have a tank with anything artificial, but I was looking for stuff to set it up for

When I first saw this I laughed at how gimmicky it was. I didn't even want to have a tank with anything artificial, but I was looking for stuff to set it up for a betta and it was at least something til my plants grow in. I am absolutely shocked at how much time Zorg spends up there! He'll go exploring the tank and come back and rest up there. When I wake him up and feed him in the morning he'll always be right on top of it. Credit where credit is due! First time betta owner so please excuse the tank as I am still figuring out my routine.

Caught my fish resting his tail on this today. Installed it a little underneath the filter so the current didn’t knock him off. I’ve been told they like to rest

Caught my fish resting his tail on this today. Installed it a little underneath the filter so the current didn’t knock him off. I’ve been told they like to rest on these and then because they’re labyrinth fish they like to just kind of reach up a little bit to the surface to take a breath of air so be sure to install this close to the surface. Anyway it adds a nice feature/visual element for the tank. The suction cup is strong and I haven’t had any problems with it staying on the tank wall.
