For Reptiles: Mix 1 part warm water to 2 parts Zilla Reptile Munchies. Allow approximately 5 minutes for food to rehydrate. Drain excess water and place food in shallow feeding dish. Always feed the appropriate amount of food for the size of the animal. Remove uneaten food. For Small Animals: Sprinkle directly on top of pets food. Do not rehydrate. Intended to be fed as a supplement in addition to a balanced daily diet. Should not exceed 20% of total food intake. Discard uneaten and soiled food. Provide plenty of clean, fresh water.

I was at my wits end trying to find things he'd eat and wasting money on all kinds of things that he wouldn't. I decided to try this omnivore mix and he LOVES it!! He's eaten more in the week I've been feeding him this than he's eaten in the 8 months I've had him. So very happy I took a chance and tried this. I ordered 3 bags and will be ordering more soon. This is made for reptiles but it is also very healthy and beneficial for hamsters. Hamsters are omnivores and in the wild they eat insects. Since my hamsters are domesticated, and have only been domesticated for 80 years, I like to keep my hamsters “wild instincts” still going! So feeding high protein and insects does just that with so many added nutrients! This is great and if you have hamsters, please mix this in with your seed mix!!

We soak it in piping hot water for about 2 minutes then drain the excess water. She likes it a little crunchy. Will definitely be buying more.
