Great substrate
I mix this Zilla Jungle mix with reptisoil, leaf littler and moss for the perfect bioactive substrate for my corn snakes. They love it!

Great product
I love it!! Its nice and moist a bit. My humidity went up to witch is good for my leopard gecko as soon as I put leo in the moss he started digging right away

I bought this item as sort of a 'topper' for my bioactive reptile enclosures. Not only does it look wonderful, but it's soft to the touch, smells like a pleasant
I bought this item as sort of a 'topper' for my bioactive reptile enclosures. Not only does it look wonderful, but it's soft to the touch, smells like a pleasant forest, and makes for excellent topping substrate. My isopods can move easily through it, and my reptiles seem to love how soft it is! Will absolutely be getting more :)
My favorite premix substrate
This is by far the best substrate I have used for my reptiles. I do think that making your own with sand, coco fiber and moss, etc. is better but if you don't want

Wood mites!
I give the bedding itself 4 stars because of how many splinters it's given me. I give the overall product 2 stars because my bag was filled with wood mites. Luckily
I give the bedding itself 4 stars because of how many splinters it's given me. I give the overall product 2 stars because my bag was filled with wood mites. Luckily they are harmless to reptiles and humans but still very unwanted. Seeing tiny specs in a snake enclosure is a big panic starter but they are in fact just wood mites and are harmless. I'm going to stick with the coco bricks since I know they never have mites with them. The good news is if you let the bedding dry out and leave a water dish nearby the mites will all drown themselves.

I mixed this bedding with the Zilla coconut husk bedding and it works well for both my isopods and my springtails! It also seems to work nicely for my live plants

My Leopard Gecko Love This!
I used this moss to layer the Exo Terra Gecko Cave for Reptiles that I bought for him as his humid home on the warm side of his terrarium. It is now his favorite
I used this moss to layer the Exo Terra Gecko Cave for Reptiles that I bought for him as his humid home on the warm side of his terrarium. It is now his favorite place to lay. I would say this moss looks and feels more like wood chips. The bag is huge and will last a long time. Such a great and cheap buy!

I bought this solely for my cactus and orchid, and it currently seems to be working spectacularly, its retaining a lot of moisture with out being overly damp, and I don't think either plant suffered to much shock with their replanting.

For one it smells amazing! It doesn’t have that many high quality ingredients, but it holds humidity well and it looks more natural than something like plain coco
