It can be hard on the liver, so I purchased these to possibly help counteract the effects. We just got our blood results back yesterday and our liver enzymes were excellent! I was really hoping these chews would work but my dog who needs it will not touch them. I even put some peanut butter on the pieces, she would try to lick the peanut butter off but would not eat it. I was surprised that dogs would like turmeric, I don’t even like turmeric. This creates quite the predicament as these bites are soft, and she’s down to only 4 teeth along with her liver blood test highly elevated from the prior year. She cannot take Denamarin because of only having 4 teeth and not being able to chew them tablet and she is very picky so I can’t even crumble it and sprinkle it in her food. I really scrubbed these reviews and thought that the positive ones who also stated improvement with liver test results after daily consumption outweighed those of the negative reviews and dogs who will not eat them; but add us to the “wont eat list”.

I was worried they Might not like them because of the color but I was wrong I gave all three of them one and they all wanted more!! My two larger pups get three and the smaller one gets two each day. I have to be quick and distract the little so she doesn’t notice. LOL! They love the chicken flavor and I love that they are helping them and natural.

I'm happy to give my dogs liver support but with these it takes cottage cheese fat free and lumpy on the bottom the chew then pumpkin and chicken on top or she will pick it out. If she does then it takes natural Peanut butter to disguise it so she'll hopefully eat it! It's a strong smell and not a good smell. My other Dog is on it as well but she will eat it with the same method as my other dog. She's just not as picky. I wish they were easier to eat since both dogs have raised liver enzymes.
