Shiloh is our family pet that was adopted from a shelter. We learned very quickly that he had been abused by a male, he cowered whenever my husband attempted to pet/bond with him and would urinate and then hide. I think he had been scolded about the submissive urination and so he would hide to avoid that. We spent months quietly cleaning up and reinforcing that he would not get scolded or abused whenever he would urinate while my husband petted him or tried to play with him and he started building confidence but it was still happening every single time even though his body language was more relaxed. This supplement has really helped. He has not stopped completely, we have to young sons and when they get loud while husband is playing with him he will accidently urinate due to the overstimulation of loud noise but he has finally truly relaxed and opened up with my husband and now will play and allow my husband to pet him and sit with him without urinating on himself.

Actually work!

These aren’t instant but i didn’t want it to be like that, i give them yo my puppy when we are doing a longer car ride or things that are anxiety inducing for her

It definitely helps her be more calm and ultimately sleep better. No instant change- but i wasn’t looking for something like that. She just sleeps deeper and is less off the walls

I've had Zesty Paws products before and liked them

I followed instructions and gave only ONE HALF the introductory dose. BOTH my dogs had explosive diarrhea for two days, around the clock. I got NO sleep. One

One of them was so bad I had to take her to the vet. Blood work showed nothing else wrong. I noticed one of the most common side effects listed was diarrhea. Wow.

Crushed

I was hoping this product would be a good way to help my dog calm down when going for walks so she can focus during training. The product was supposed to be 10 chewables

I was hoping this product would be a good way to help my dog calm down when going for walks so she can focus during training. The product was supposed to be 10 chewables and I received a bag of powder. I don't know itlf they were packed incorrectly or stored incorrectly but the best I can do now is guess how much a chew was and sprinkle it on her food. Definitely not advisable.

My 16lb Chihuahua/pug mix is very anxious and doesn’t always rest well at night. We have meds from the vet for the really tough nights but I wanted something to give on a more regular basis. These are perfect! I have been buying Zesty Paws products for years now, little Scrappy takes the 8 in 1 multivitamin every day, so I figured I would try these. The first night he had one, I was surprised at how well it worked. He was much calmer that evening leading up to bedtime, and seemed to rest better overnight. The only issue is he doesn’t care for the texture or flavor of these, they’re similar to the multivitamins - soft and crumbly. He will eventually eat it with his dinner but it isn’t something he’ll take like a treat unfortunately.

This stuff works

My dog would ge very nervous at night like she would pant and not be able to sleep like she was seeing Ghosts. This behavior kept us up all night long. We tried drugs from our vet and that did not work. So I called Chewy and that customer service lady said he could reccomend Zesty paws based on her expeiance with her cats ( I geuss cats have this weird behavior too). So I bought the 10 piece starter pack and wow I got results. Went ahead and ordered the 90 pack jar. Now i give my dog a gummy at 3-4 pm and anothetr gummy before bed at 9-10 pm and that seems to keep her calm at night so so far in 2 weeks Zesty Paws has worked for us. Fingers crossed we found a med that is not harmful and works. Dog is a mutt 55-60 pounds 12 years old and thank God for Zesty Paws for now.

This product does not have any effect on our Springers. I even give them an extra chew. I will wait to see if it just takes longer to get into their system.
