I've had Twinkie under 2 years. She was under 5lbs. and had never been to a vet. Found out she has congestive heart failure. I did a lot of research and decided Zesty paws was the way to go for her. She's a picky eater, but really likes these! I'm so glad as I want to help her be as healthy as possible! She also takes the senior 11-in-1 and turmeric. During Spring she also gets the hemp allergy one.

I bought these for my Boston Terrier Cloey who had a grade four murmur and was diagnosed with stage 1 mitral valve disease. After giving her these the vet said her murmur went down and can hardly be heard it is now a grade 1-2 murmur and she has gained so much energy. She used to not want to walk and just go right in and lay back down now she's playful loves walking and her heart health is doing amazing I'm so glad I found these chews. She loves them too. Amazing Product.

"The science" on all these supplaments has gone back and forth over the last 25 years but I've seen enough with my own eyes to know that sometimes, they do make a difference for some pets. My 8-year-old Chinese Crested was diagnosed with a grade 1 heart murmur in August. I made two changes even though my vet wasn't super optimistic they would help--I added taurine (some days this supplament and some days the Vetri Cardio Canine by VetriScience) and also switched from a grain free diet to kibble with grain. My dog was recently examined by the vet for an unrelated problem and the heart murmer was gone! The vet even had a colleague come in to listen too just to be sure. There is no way to know exactly what made the difference but the vet and I both guess it is the taurine.

Wanted to be able to use it.

I fully believe that if I had been able to use the whole jar, it would have made a difference. Please be advised to all those pet parents out there that are thinking

I fully believe that if I had been able to use the whole jar, it would have made a difference. Please be advised to all those pet parents out there that are thinking about getting this...the Hawthorn Berry that is in here is contraindicated in pets using enalapril, as mine is. I believe it is due to the high potassium content. I am absolutely not faulting the company for this, as enalapril has a very long list of contraindications, and my boy started his heart meds only a few days after I bought this product. I just wanted to get the word of warning out there. Again, I'm sure this product is great, just be cautious of any potential drug interactions.

I have two senior mini schnauzers and have recently started incorporating these Cardio Bites into their supplement regimen. They are both picky eaters, but love these supplements and think that they're treats - a win for them and their health! There are 90 in a bottle, so I think you get a lot for the price! I also love that this supplement includes omega-3 fatty acids which is also great for helping their coats stay shiny!

They smell delicious, little heart shaped bits, that were an immediate hit with my dog. I'll have to wait 4 months now for reassessment so I can't speak to improving condition but I believe it beneficial. Reordered.

My miniature schnauzer takes VetMedin for a Grade 3 heart murmur. He is my constant companion at 9 years old and I want many more years of his companionship, so I supplement with Cardio Bites to provide the essentials for heart health. That, along with healthful diet and moderate exercise. He takes one per day with his morning meal - it's his pre-breakfast treat, which he loves. I have recommended to a few of my dog guardians friends.

I was excited to see this new line of product from Zesty Paws. I've tried a few of their other products for my pups and was always impressed by the quality and results

I was excited to see this new line of product from Zesty Paws. I've tried a few of their other products for my pups and was always impressed by the quality and results. These cardio bites didn't disappoint. Made in the Usa with love and quality ingredients you can read and nutritionally beneficial. My Chihuahua is aging and his heart health and vitality is super important at this age. Giving him these perfect sized little heart shaped chews (nice touch might I add) provides him with essential fish oils, vitamins, folic acid and more that he needs to keep him healthy and vibrant as he ages. Great for all size dogs as well.
