I have a diabetic cat so he pees ALOT, and with normal litter it can get messy almost muddy from the amount of pee and glucose in his pee. Will this get mucky/muddy too? He doesn’t like his feet dirty and I have switched to the pretty litter but it is expensive and does not clump.

Answer by Reddirtgirl87Mar 29, 2026
Hi. I also have a diabetic cat and understand the massive urine output they are capable of. This doesn’t make a mush like the others. I did realize after busting my tail from slipping that this becomes very slick on the floor around the litter box if you don’t have a mat down and you have a litter throwing cat (I do) get a good mat that can be picked up and shaken out.

How is the comfort care litter different from the multi cat litter? Is the texture of the litter smaller?

Answer by MeeblyMomMar 27, 2026
Yes the pieces are smaller. My cat prefers this over the other types. She is a senior cat that was declawed as a kitten. She has terrible arthritis in her front paws and this seems more gentle.

How is the comfort care litter different from the multi cat litter and the unscented (beyond the obvious)? Is the texture of the litter smaller? Is it more safe for belly aches? Dust? Scent?

is this product recommended for multiple cats?

Once again, my box came filled with loose kitty litter as the big bag of kitty litter was in a box with one container of catfood in a cardboard box which immediately got smashed, causing it to have sharp edges and rip open the bag of kitty litter. This happens often. I think I will need to adjust how much food I order so the Packers are not putting one box of food in with the one bag of cat litter.

Does not help with ammonia control

This product does smell like corn. It’s not bad. If your place is not well ventilated, you will have that cornflakes kind of smell in your house. Again, not bad

This product does smell like corn. It’s not bad. If your place is not well ventilated, you will have that cornflakes kind of smell in your house. Again, not bad. This stuff does not help with ammonia gas control. There are other brands that do a better job at controlling ammonia. Ammonia and odor control are two separate things. Ammonia is a gas and causes a lot of damage to your respiratory system. The odor is a separate component that is just unpleasant to smell. I am not a fan of this litter type for studio spaces or single apartment spaces bc/ of this issue. Wish I could return.

ARE THERE MORE THAN 5 STARS?

I am impressed! I am amazed! A company that actually tells the truth! 99% dust free?? Oh, come on, I thought (the cats thought the same thing). They ALL say that!

I am impressed! I am amazed! A company that actually tells the truth! 99% dust free?? Oh, come on, I thought (the cats thought the same thing). They ALL say that! Well, Sherlock, Miss Watson & I are here to tell you that it's the absolute, honest TRUTH! Is there a little bit of dust on the side of the pan? SURE! It's made out of corn! Did it make a dust poof when I poured it in the pan for the first time? Not on your life! Does it make dust poofs when my cats scratch? NOPE! Is my furniture full of dust, even all the way into the living room? My good sirs and madams, I'm here to tell you, the claims are true! 99.9% DUST FREE! I swear, if there was a "dust free dance" I would be doing it right now! Is it a *tad* more expensive than the other stuff I was using? Yep! Do I care? I do NOT! The extra money is SO WORTH my babies not breathing in all of that dust! THANK YOU, WORLD'S BEST LITTER! We will NEVER AGAIN use ANYTHING ELSE!

I bought this to try to be more conscious of my purchases for my cats. I've been using it for about 3 years now and I'm still pretty confident in this litter. I've now transfered both of my cats over to it and I'm now just starting to with my new kitten. As long as you follow the rule of slowly incorporating it into their previous litter, everything goes just fine. I never had any problems. Yes, it has tracking problems, but to be honest all clumping litters do. I only really notice the tracking if it's from a litter that hasn't been fully refreshed in a while. It clumps very well and rarely leaves those little bits of clumps that I often got from clay litter. And since it clumps so well, my bag of World's Best last so much longer. When I had just one cat, my 28lb bag would last me 5 months. That included me refreshing it with about 4 cups of the litter each week. It covers up the smell of the litterbox very well and comparitively to my other litter box of tidy cats. Litter usually smells either way, but I much prefer World's Best smell. What really brought me to this litter was it being able to break down and go back into the environment, unlike clay litter which would've just gotten into a big messy clump. When the litter has gotten old, I take out all of the poop and pee and then dump the litter into my compost pile. It breaks down in a couple of weeks and you hardly notice it was there. Although, I've never done it, having the option to also flush it down the toliet is nice. Yes, the litter has it problems, but when you literally have a box of sand like material in your house that your cat sifts through when they use the bathroom, of course you're gonna have some tracking through the house. But it covers the smell well along with clumping like a beast. I don't think I'll be changing the litter anytime soon.

I wanted to try a litter that was healthier for my aging cats. Especially ClawDia who has become prone to uti's. This fits that exactly. My cats haven't had any problems with it, they are older and very picky about smells and textures. It smells a little like cornmeal, which is better than clay litter which bothers my asthma and irritates my cats lungs. I am pleased with this brand, but it does have a few cons. The Comfort Care tracks everywhere. Even with cat litter mats, I'm waking up with litter in my bed. My cats don't like corser litter, so I'm just sweeping often. It doesn't last as long as it says. I bought a 15 lb bag for my two cats with one large litter box, and they went through half the bag in a week. I'll have to buy the bigger bag next time. I also wish it came in a resealable bag or preferably in a pourable container. And you do have to let it set for a bit for it to clump up hard. If you try to scoop it fresh it will fall apart. Other than that, it is a good quality litter, and my cats are happy with it, so i plan on sticking with it.

Brand name says it all

I honestly thought this was just some hoopla- bougie cat litter that I'd hate, but I was so tired of choking myself out from dusty litter that I gave this a try. I have boxes for 4 cats & a slow transition is crucial so your cats dont get stressed with a change of litter. That being said I decided I'd use one box with World's Best Litter and the other 2 the old litter. Within 10 minutes of putting World's Best in one of the boxes a kitty peed. Which I thought was crazy (I expected them to totally avoid it honestly). Over the course of a week it has been used about as much as the old litter would have been. There is VERY LITTLE to no dust when you add litter from the bag to the box and NO dust when scooping. It has a pleasant smell *just corn smell I guess*. I absolutely love it. Even with stool in the box you don't smell it. Like you can with traditional clay litter (almost like you can smell stool and just whatever scent on top of it that tries to mask it). Legit I scooped and was surprised when I scooped poop bc I couldn't smell it at all. Im very excited to continue the transition and only use World's Best Litter!

So I mix this one with the Dr. Somthing(forget the name but white blue box) litter and it’s a dream combo. I think the pretty litter she was using before caused her to develop an autoimmune reaction and this litter and my special combo had been a life saver. Easy to use and clean, good clumping, NO SMELL, not even a little, not even if it’s freshly used, iykwim. Any recommend it enough. If your list, dk where to start, looking for Somthing new, I feel like this litter can cure cancer at this point(mixed w the other one) I’m obsessed and lucky I found this solution to my problems! Thx chewy and worlds best, it really is the worlds best.

I switched from a walnut shell litter to this one after being frustrated with how bad the former tracked around the house but this is honestly worse. It tracks just as bad, is much dustier and it gives the waste an odd odor. I grew up using this litter (my parents bought it) and it wasn’t until I bought it myself that I realized the bad smell of my childhood cats litter boxes was this specific litter. I have a black cat and you can clearly see how dusty it is, the dust and litter tracks everywhere (see photos of it on my pants after he just used the litter.) Will not be purchasing again.

Ok let's be real, the clay litters stick to the box and have the nastiest perfume smell that is so much worse after your pet pees on it.. I have tryed every litter on the market. This is the best! Although I will use another Corn litter if this isn't available..No litter is perfect..it does track a bit I have a nice mat to keep it from going to far..my favorite is, there's little smell..clean it a couple times a day after your cats potty and it lasts..It's also easy to clean..it doesnt stick like glue to your litter box..When I foster kittens it's the only litter that doesn't give them eye infections..I only use non scented, and once you put a litter box in a spot. Choose wisely..that is exactly where they will continue to go..I have tryed pellets. Not my fav as my cat gets it on their feet..yuk..I have never tryed Pretty Litter. It's a prefere I guess but I hate the glue type litters that dobt co.e off my.litter box..so gross..this is my fav..below a pic, my cat just potties, very little mess

I tried flushable clay years back and dropped that idea. After 20+ years of clumping clay use (multiple brands and a multi-cat house), I decided to try flushable corn litter, expecting bad clumping and clogging the toilet. So I ordered two kinds to test. This litter grain is larger than the clays that I have used over the years. By the way, to prevent the litter from sticking to the pan, I double bag. When my cat digs, she only gets to the top layer plastic. The bags can be reused by adding one under the un-ripped bottom layer. Here are my thoughts on the litter: 1. Clumping is comparable to clay. 2. It does last longer. I have not yet opened the second bag to test that litter and it is a month later (i got a 14 lb bag, see pic for the last batch leftover). 3. Clumps quickly disintegrate in water. I've read all of the reviews and was a bit reluctant to try. With the first bag of the World's Best (green) I have no complaints at all. I also purchased the honeycomb mat with holes to trap the litter and now taking a vacation from the litterbox issues! As an FYI, my routine is cleaning every 3 or 4 days since at this point, I only have one female cat. This litter is no worse than the clay, despite all of the masking scents available in clay. Poop smells, get over it, if you want to have a kid or a pet.
