Bought one of these a long time ago for my dog who is now passed away. The company suddenly announced around winter of 2025 that they would be removing access to all older reports without even as much as an email that they were going to do so. No option to retain any possible access to these results was possible through their site. And no notice was provided to be able to retain any of the information manually before hand. The results for your endeared pet?? GONE FOREVER. They claim they did this so that they could move forward with advances in technology. In other words, they didn't want to continue to support their past loyal customers by spending money to integrate a way to still access their pets records. They only want to spend money on whats going to make them more money. Just because technology has changed doesn't mean its justified to throw away everything before that. You maintain the already existing portal for legacy reports, as well as building a new one for future customers, simple. But nope, that's a waste of money. My dog is gone, dead. She was my first pet, and I can never hold on to that cherished bond that I had from knowing what made her the dog i knew. I can never test her again. Its gone. Don't trust this company with your pets information if you have any amount of value towards it. If they have done this once, they will do this again, and then you too will never be able to access the DNA or breed information of your beloved pet. Before this, I would have happily bought another test from them to keep all my pet history in one place. Now, I will never purchase another product from them again and will continue to inform others of their ill practices in screwing over their customers and taking away such a sentimental piece of information that is shared between the owner and the pet.

I was extremely happy with this product. It’s easy to use and has simple instructions and only takes about 10-15 to do with your dog and computer/phone. I picked up my dog on the side of the road and no one knew what he was, lots of guessing. And I really wanted a health background on him because the vet thought he was only about three years old. So I had both done. Well big surprise! He came back a mix of four breeds! Not even my vet was correct. And no genetic health issues for his dominant breed or for the other 211 traits checked. Then I also go feedback on all his genes for his bod traits and which ones were dominant like hair color, eye color, long or short tail etc. I found it really interesting to be able to look up the other breeds and see where his ears came from etc. They also give you a pedigree or family tree to show you your dog’s possible lineage of where the mix occurred which is really neat. Rescues are by far some of the healthiest dogs around...I loved this product, I’m going to print parts of it and take them to my vet.

I read the information and knew what I was ordering. However upon receipt I was surprised to see there was no option to print the entire report. Many years ago I had my other dog's DNA done. I received in the mail a certificate with my dog's breeds. It was nice to be able to frame it. I understand we are in the digital age but I am older and would prefer to have something tangable to look through even if I have to print it myself. As far as the test itself it very comprehensive. Lots of great information.

Super easy to gather the sample and send it off, they received it in 4 days and I had the results back in 12 days following! The DNA results were fascinating and right in line with my dogs traits and personality; all the way down to the fact that he is always hungry- he has a genetic code marker that created the problem, he isn't just a grubber! I recommend this, especially if you have a dog with no history, I now feel like I know my rescue dog and understand him far better than I did before!
