Very happy with this dog food.

I've had my dog for 3 1/2 yrs and she has had stomach issues from day one. I tried other brands, Prilosec, yogurt, even slippery elm bark, but nothing helped.

I've had my dog for 3 1/2 yrs and she has had stomach issues from day one. I tried other brands, Prilosec, yogurt, even slippery elm bark, but nothing helped. Sadie has been on this food for over 3 months now and has only had an upset tummy once. I am so glad I finally found a food that is agreeing with her.

Our new Golden Retriever has a very sensitive stomach and dry flaky skin. Our veterinarian suspects a possible food allergy. She has only been on Holsomes for 2 weeks so it’s too early nto determine a food allergy. But her stomach has been much more stable and her stool has been solid since she has been on this food. Her skin is significantly less flaky but still a bit flaky. Won’t know about food allergy for a couple more weeks. Much better than her old food.

I really wanted to like this food

It has a lot of great reviews and I figured it would help with my dog who sensitive to everything but air. Did the slow transition and also gave it about a week

It has a lot of great reviews and I figured it would help with my dog who sensitive to everything but air. Did the slow transition and also gave it about a week after the slow transition was done and he just had very mushy stool. Not diarrhea. But just very mushy. Even when I Incorporated pumpkin into it it still didn't work so I have to return it but hopefully going to try the one with no grains, the white fish one.

Lots of good high quality ingredients, but I buy for what it doesn't have and that is peas. Peas are a cheap high protein ingredient that has a possible negative health impact on dogs. Several studies have shown this and I am glad Wholesomes offers a great product with no peas.

Very disappointed in this batch

Our dogs has been having issues. This is a brand we used on a year or so ago for skin and digestion it seems to give them digestion upset,and they have been itching

Still have one bag left, but I don’t figure I can return it. Disappointed ! I don’t know if they add something new to their formula in the last year, but it’s not working for us.!!

I was looking for a new but reasonably priced food for my sensitive pups. Dobermans are known for their sensitive stomachs and skin issues which mine both have. We used PPP sensitive for a while but my oldest girl had to be put on apoquil for her skin and I was sure there had to be something else we could do so I tried a very expensive local only dog food but the cost was too much every month and we had to find something else. I found this sensitive food on Chewy and have been blown away by how good it is for both my pups. Their skin issues have totally disappeared and my girl got taken off her apoquil. All tummy issues are gone and they have normal poops. I would 100% recommend this food to anyone looking for a cost efficient yet nutritious food. Coats are shiny and they are happy and healthy.
