These used to be WONDERFUL. They were the only single-ingredient pumpkin chews/treats I could find, and I went through many, many bags of them. I always had them on hand. Then, they disappeared everywhere for quite some time. It looked like they were discontinued. Imagine my surprise when I saw them again, I was SOOO excited. However... I feel like they look/smell different. They used to be more, like, random pieces of pumpkin. Now, they look like a sliced, smaller, different squash, and smell sweeter. I thought I was imagining it, that they must just be using smaller pumpkins or something. But after the vet gave my dog a bile acid increasing medication that gave her terrible diarrhea, I was doing everything I could to solidify her waste again, and remembered I had these again. So once the medication was stopped, I started giving her these regularly... and it got worse again. I racked my brain trying to figure out what it was, and it wasn't until I saw a review here saying that they gave their dog loose stools, that it made me wonder if that's why I couldn't get her stools to go back to normal The more "pumpkin" I gave her, the longer she had the soft stools. I finally stopped giving them to her, and now she's back to pooping normally. I don't know if it's the glycerin, or if they're using something other than pumpkin now, but these are not what they used to be, and it's such a bummer!! Please go back to making the old pumpkin strips!!

I have 5 dogs. My start rating is based on 3 out of 5 dogs liked the pumpkin treats. The two that wouldn't eat them are picky eaters. The 3 that said, "Yummy!" gladly will eat what the picky dogs won't eat. All the more for them. The pumpkin treats smell really good. The packaging keeps them fresh. I look for treats all the dogs like. I wouldn't buy this because all my dogs don't want them.

Both of my dogs love these treats and keep begging for more. In the past Soren had refused to eat pumpkin and was a little unsure at first, but these won him over. Lulu loves almost anything and was eager to try them. The slices vary in size and are very thin, flexible and chewy. I personally love that they are only two ingredients.

Great treats, pumpkin is good for a dog. It’s a treat forl your dog, Bag contains a lot of various sized pieces. I give her a few at a time depending on the sizes. She will gobble them up most time , some will times she will gnaw on them and then eat them. They can become gooey after being gnawed on. They are dehydrated so it’s just the pumpkin slice. Nice healthy treat. I changed between the pumpkin and sweet potatoes, she loves them both. Give it a try- it’s better than a lot of the other treats.
