While the ingredients listed on Chewy did not disclose specifically that the product contains alfalfa, it does contain a significant amount of alfalfa. For omnivores like rats (and to some extent mice), that excess fiber is not ideal for their digestion. I hope the description is updated to specify the ingredients!

Also the ingredients state something about meal worms and the bag that I received didn’t have this in it. Overall I rate it 3 stars because my rats do love all the other little dried bits that come in this bag. Just not the green pellets. Which is probably 85% of the bag.
