Zoe is five years old, and has been enjoying a Whimzee every morning. We have always had Yorkies and most have had teeth issues. When we take her to visit her vet, Dr. Vickie, she is absolutely blown away on how great her teeth look. She uses words like "perfect!" We purchase all her food and treats from CHEWY. They usually arrive in just two days! Here is our little Princess Zoe. She's royalty, just ask her! Many thanks to all the good folks at Chewy.

These whimzees are truly the best teeth cleaning treats you can possibly get. I am completely sold on the product and won't be buying any other treat products besides the virbac treats to mix it up with (which are also good). Green tripe goes rehydrated in the food, so is a different kind of yummy but apparently healthy treat she gets. The reason the whimzees are good is because they are much harder than any other of the 'Greenie' type chews, meaning the dog takes a lot longer to get through one, giving her plenty of jaw exercise as well as far better teeth scraping ability to remove hardened plaque and tartar, also keeping the gums in excellent condition. Despite brushing 3-4 times a week, our 14 pound 13yo dog had a pretty fishy smelling breath, and some dark ugly build up on the teeth (although nowhere near as bad as would be expected in a small dog this age without the brushing!). When we introduced the whimzees, she had been on some softer Greenie like chews for months, and the virbacs for a shorter period (still on the first bag) with some improvement. It was a night and day however in her breath quality within a week of using the whimzees. Unbelievable! And this is using the smallest ones broken in half! Our dog has never liked to go for anything 'big' (even though it's not) being a dainty little thing, so half worked perfectly even though they are very hard to break. A half of a small gives her plenty of chewing time, especially compared to greenies and all its other competitors - twice to three times as long for our dog. She's occasionally tackled a full mini, although once puked it after eating on an empty stomach. I was happy she wasn't turned off it, as she sometimes is once it has made her ill. It was very nicely chewed up into tiny little bits (about the size of half of a grain of rice), showing that she is able to chew it up very well so there are no potential issues with obstruction etc. She is just occasionally prone to the odd puke, especially eating something new of a larger amount on an empty stomach. The smallest one equalled to almost a quarter of a cup of puke once swelled up, so a big treat for a little dog. They are not her favorite treats, but once into them, she seems very happy to enjoy the good chew. I think the flavor might not be as great as some others which would normally result in a four star review, if these weren't so great at helping dental and gum issues. Sometimes she will put one of these away for later, and reward herself when she comes back from a walk or other time I might normally treat her but forget to or decide not to because she has had her ration and aI know she has one stashed. This happens more with s full one, as she most often eats the half treats immediately. She just came back from the vet for her yearly checkup. She hasn't had a dental cleaning for years, and the vet was astonished at the condition of her teeth and gums for her age (13 1/2). Mostly it has been from our brushing, as she has only been using these treats for a short while, but they have helped dramatically with her breath, so we must ascertain that they have done something pretty fabulous that nothing else was able to do (along with the virbacs) to achieve this. My husband could hardly cope with her in the car before, and our most recent drive was quite a surprise for us to notice she has no odor at all. The other dental chews did none of this even after months of use. Amazing! We found our winning combo! BTW, she only gets a little piece of virbac chew for small dogs too. They come in long strips that you can give one or so a day. She might get a couple of 1/2 to 1 inch pieces, as treats. This seems to work just fine. I love my treats to be functional, rather than just yummy. They can be yummy and good for you. I wish I had discovered these earlier. Thanks to chewy for stocking these.

Do not buy these!!!!! The end of the treat, the part that looks like a brush head, is hallow. My dog chocked on the treat, part was launched in his throat and the other piece was stuck on his back teeth. He started to loose his color because he couldn't breath. The treat was removed and that's how we saw it was hallow. Do not give your dog this treat. If you risk it then do not leave them alone with it. The attached pictures has blood from him and us. He bit when it was removed. Imaging your jaw finally being able to close. Scary moment. He could have died.

We just had my pup's annual vet visit and my vet asked if I brush my dog's teeth. NOPE! He has Whimzee bones! These are so good to him he has learned the word "bone"!!! He never has stinky breath and they're easy for him to hold too. He's about 15lbs and probably about a 10 year old Chiweenie! He gets the x-small bones once a day.

I got these for my active 98 lb. lab mix to keep her busy. We tried greenies but none of my 3 dogs like them. With this product I have to barricade the lazy susan cabinet they are in. She has learned how to swing open the door to try and retrieve her own whimzee. Now she runs up to me, tags me and runs back to the cabinet. Waiting and whining until I follow and give her one. Who's the trained one here? She is a tough chewer so she is able to finish one in about 10 minutes. Glad to see Chewy.com carries them. Convenient and great price. No stomach or stool issuses here.

I have two dogs 19lbs and 23lbs and the extra small size is perfect for them. I give them one before bed every night and then religiously brush their teeth every night before bed with the Arm & Hammer Vanilla Ginger toothpaste since I adopted each at a year old. At age 5 & 7, their teeth look amazing and white and at their most recent wellness visits their vet once again said they do not yet need dentals. I think these dental treats along with consistent brushing have helped maintain tooth health.

My dogs are used to eating greenies. I thought I would get something a little bit firmer so their teeth would get a little cleaner they don't really seem to like this but probably because it's extremely hard. Greenies are soft. My dogs are seniors and their teeth are not in the best shape so they're having a hard time chewing on these. Other than that they're fine

I like that this style takes longer for dogs to chew because she was eating the ones shaped like straight bars too fast. With these, she has to really spend some time. That said, she isn't too enticed by them. Maybe there is a taste or flavor difference? IDK because I am not going to eat one haha. My daughter's dog finishes them very fast and they are a good product. Just on the fence about whether this particular one is the best for my (apparently picky) dog. Crossing fingers she will grow to love them!

I have a dog with a high level of protein sensitivity and allergy. It's hard to find some products with no side effect for this type a dog. Whimzees Toothbrush Dental Dog Treats have 100% non-allergic ingredients and no animal protein. Gluten free and no artificial colors. Wheat and chemical free also. It's probably just one product on the market for dogs with this type of problem. I have 3.5 pound tea cup chihuahua and I use just 1/2 of a chew once a day. (Because the minimum recommended weight for 1 chew is 5 pounds. I use X-small chews ). I talked to my Vet and she was very positive about this product for my dog.
