Please CHEWY, get stronger boxes or more conscientious shippers and drivers. This has been going on for YEARS, and I have called in repeatedly, to no avail.
Great Food, Worth It
We have two male cats. Bagheera started to have issues with FLUTD when he was 5 months old (now almost 3 y/o) so we fed them both Iams urinary tract health dry food
We have two male cats. Bagheera started to have issues with FLUTD when he was 5 months old (now almost 3 y/o) so we fed them both Iams urinary tract health dry food. That was alright for about 2 years. Then he started having issues again so we decided it was time to transition to a 100% wet food diet. I was drawn to this brand at the pet store because of its ingredients and pictures on the can. Bagheera is the pickiest eater I have ever known, but he loves Weruva! Not all varieties or consistencies however, no pate for him. He loves the simple shredded chicken and turkey kinds though. But I love how this brand provides so many different varieties because our other cat Bear loves them ALL! Lamb, duck, beef, and all the fish kinds. I plan on trying the stew and TruLuxe too. After about 2-3 weeks on this 100% wet food diet they both have significantly softer, shinier coats. Bear used to drink from the faucet constantly, and as of recently he has stopped. My theory being that he is getting more moisture from his diet. Both cats are more excited and eager to eat at feeding time now. If you’ve gotten this far in my review, don’t let the “my cat won’t eat this” scare you off. Children don’t like to eat vegetables but we don’t say that vegetables are bad because kids won’t eat em.

So I was looking for a low phosphorus wet cat food. I was feeling my kitty Royal canin Renal D. He liked that one. He recently had blood work and a urinalysis done
So I was looking for a low phosphorus wet cat food. I was feeling my kitty Royal canin Renal D. He liked that one. He recently had blood work and a urinalysis done. The vet said he is not showing true signs of kidney disease other than urinating often. I was looking for a better quality and lower priced food other than the Royal canin. It has too much by-products. I came across this Weruva food and did some research and comparing to other foods. It does have a lower phosphorus percentage and it's better quality protein. My cat is going crazy for it. The only thing is I wish is that the company puts more meat into the cans and it's also a bit pricey. I also ordered a bag of Halo chicken and chicken liver dry food as it also has a low phosphate percentage. I am going to try the Weruva Truluxe steak frites with Beef and pumpkin next. I feel good giving boy Worf this food. Its pricey but he is worth it. Thank you Chewy!!

What I love about this pack - real food you see real shredded chicken in each can, smell just like your canned soup, and I tasted and love it because it is not salty. What I am not a fan of - there is still starches here and there, but I let this go as compared to carrageenan that this pack has none. The chunks of meat are too big and long, so I always chop them with my kitchen scissors when preparing and I am willing to do this by all means rather than feeding my tuxie some trash food. What my kitty honestly thinks - he goes crazy when the can is opened, but once it is down in the bowl, he sniffs and licks a little bit and walks away. He will come back later and he finishes the bowl at the end of the day. He is not a gobbler by nature, but a grazer, but I see that this is not his top favorite where he will do more than a lick or two. To help with his appetite, I sprinkle his beloved Honest Kitchen, and this does the job. His least favorite flavor is the Grandma's Soup. Overall, happy with this, because his fur is shiny, his bathroom is regular, no tummy ache, and... he is pretty lean and not heavy as compared to other food I fed him in the past where I can feel that he is heavy when I lift him. I recommend this food for the real ingredients that are healthy and natural for your little carnivores.

I am thrilled to report that my cat who has been scratching since we got her last July has stopped! I remember years ago we had a cat who had a gluten allergy. I went online and sent emails to Wellness, Natural Balance and Weruva asking them about any gluten in their food. Within 20 minutes I heard back from David, the owner of Weruva, letting me know that none of their foods contain gluten. Not only was I impressed with his service, but as I bought the food was equally impressed with the quality. Then the next several sick kitties we adopted could not have chicken or fish in many cases, so I had to move on to another company and different food. Stella seems able to have chicken and I gravitated back to the company who had been so helpful to me. I bought this variety pack of the chicken flavors and Stella loves them all! Even better, they love her without any bad reactions. If you've been through this with a pet, you know how that feels. It's like you've won the lottery! Anyway, each of these foods in the variety pack is meaty and yet tender. I did try one of the Tiki after dark flavors and she wasn't as happy with that option as it didn't seem as tender to chew. I will be sticking with this food for several reasons. One, she loves it and does well on it and secondly because this company helped me when I needed it most. Love everything about this food and totally recommend!

Paw Lickin’ Chicken Chicken Recipe in Gravy Grandma’s Chicken Soup with Chicken & Pumpkin Nine Liver with Chicken & Chicken Liver in Gravy Green Eggs & Chicken with Chicken & Egg in Pea Soup My cat's love this cat food so much they beg for more after they eat it. This product was #complimentaryfromWeruva and my cats saw the package come in the house and ran right for it. Both of my cats have special needs now that they are seniors and this is the only food I have found that helps their sensitive bellies. It is GrainFree and Vegan free and lastly Carrageener Free. There is enough in each can for 2 to 3 days worth for one cat. It's pure chicken and it has tons in each can. They are obsessed with all four flavors. This is a family owned company David and Stacy Forman. All of the Chicken is a cage free Chicken. They use high-quality ingredients like boneless, skinless white breast meat chicken and fish loins (with options for chicken-free and fish-free recipes) for protein-forward, low-fat feline nutrition.

After asking around and researching I decided it was better to throw it out. I was more concerned about the major difference from the old quality. Hoping it was just a few bad batches.

I ordered this brand to avoid grain as well as tuna fish plus it has a very high moisture content. However, the lids have got to be the hardest to open I've ever encountered. For pull off lids I found four of the lift-and-pull tabs totally snapped off and when trying to use a regular can opener, I completely failed to get the lid off. As to the food inside, even my two cats outside found it difficult to eat whole peas and diced up carrots in the Grandma's Chicken Soup. They chewed at the fully cooked chicken shredded, but did not finish any of the long, grainy ones. With the Nine Liver variety, i had to cut the individual chunks of liver into much smaller pieces and even mash those smaller pieces for my indoor cats as the liver had cooked up very hard. The Pawlicious Chicken had a nice viscous broth in it which all the cats loved but, again, the large shredded pieces needed to be cut in half before the cats would eat it. Their favorite was the Green Eggs and Chicken - not that they ate the peas in it either. But the egg portions in each can appealed to all of the cats as did the viscous broth and the chicken pieces which were more manageable for them to chomp on without my help in cutting them up. To sum up: the chicken was extremely overcooked and not shredded as thoroughly as could be, and had whole peas in some of the variety cans All in all, this isn't a product I will buy again nor will I recommend it to anyone else.
