Weruva manufactures their formulas in a human grade USDA certified facility in Thailand. On top of being antibiotic free, hormone free and free range, their chicken, for instance, is also DLD certified. They source in Thailand, part of an Animal Welfare Standard that sets forth ethical treatment guidelines that helps protect livestock and cattle at the farm, during transport and at the time of processing.

My dog suddenly and inexplicably lost his taste for the high-end, canned dog food I was feeding him to the point where he would only eat it because he was too hungry not to. So I had to look for an alternative. After lengthy research, I settled on Weruva canned dog food and am absolutely thrilled ... I switched to this dog food about 2-3 weeks ago and have fed him every canned flavor available to re-establish a baseline of his likes and dislikes. I'm happy to tell you he loves every flavor; he looks forward to his 2x/day meal times again; and he dives right in ... no hesitation. Weruva is pricey, but the ingredients are second-to-none. It's very much worth the cost because it's keeping my 14-year-old dog healthy and happy.

Guess I Shoulda Listened

Well, the product itself seems good. Looks & smells appetizing and fresh. Just fed it to my 2 poodles for the first time (added to kibble) and they seemed to love

Well, the product itself seems good. Looks & smells appetizing and fresh. Just fed it to my 2 poodles for the first time (added to kibble) and they seemed to love it. However the delivery was flawed - out of 12 cans, fully half were dented. One can had come open and product leaked out the top and onto other cans. Very disappointing. I am not one to freak out about small dents in cans, especially if they are intact and not bulging. I will wash the tops of the other cans with hot soapy water and feel comfortable using them, however I cannot use the can that came open. I will have to figure out how to request a credit for the one unusable can. If I like the product enough to buy another case, I will look for it in local pet stores.

I have been using Weruva products for more than 2 years. It all started when my my Shih Tzu tempermental taste started to get to me. She stop eating dry food. I visited a holistic pet shop and was told mix a couple of teaspoon of Weruva can food with the dry food. Viola ! That Shih Tzu has left her dog bowl cleaner than that in any time since she has been part of my life. I use a combination of Fromm Game Bird with the Weruva and I can see a difference in coat and eyes. Even the vet had commented on her appearance and wanted to know what I was feeding her and my other dog. Highly recommend Weruva can dog food.

Exactly As Described

I first fed this as a topper for my elderly Schipperke. She didn't tolerate it very well. I think it was because of her failing health. Her digestive issues persisted

I first fed this as a topper for my elderly Schipperke. She didn't tolerate it very well. I think it was because of her failing health. Her digestive issues persisted until she passed, long after I stopped feeding it. I am now feeding it to a young, healthy rescue I adopted in March 2017. She LOVES it. I use it as a topper and she licks the empty bowl. Nice healthy stool. I would probably eat this in a crisis. It smells really good. Definitely recommend.

This is amazing high quality dog food. I have purchased numerous flavors that are grain free and my dogs love it. I use 65% Honest Kitchen Force chicken and top it with Weruva , my dogs just love it. Also use Nupro Silver which has made a huge difference with our rescued pooch :D I would suggest staying away from all kibbles for dogs digestive system were not created for that. Quality Problem

We have been feeding our 13-year old Havanese this food for almost a year now since he has a sensitive digestive system (he was diagnosed with pancreatitis and GI and was in the ER for a week). When he was discharged, we followed the Vet's recommended diet and got him the prescribed canned food but to our dismay, he rejected all the recommended food. Frustrated, I went to my favorite food store, Mom's Organic Market, and found the Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken and I gave it a try. Surprisingly, he gobbled up the food and licked the bowl clean! Unfortunately, we noticed a big change in the last case we bought. Each can has been only three quarters full and the amount of chicken per volume is less than half, mostly gravy and potatoes. This is a dramatic decline from previous batches that were predominantly chicken with less gravy. We believe it is affecting my dog's health as he has loose stools. We tried to purchase a different batch and ended up returning them for the same problem. Then we decided to buy a case from Chewy hoping to get a batch that is mostly chicken but unfortunately it is the same. But I'm just keeping them and will add home-cooked chicken breast to it.

Our 5 Cavaliers love Weurva dinners. ALL flavors appeal to them and are nutritious, full of real meats, poultry or fish and veggies balanced with protein, not filler. Honestly, Weruva looks and smells like human food. Not stinky or, "where's the beef" kind of thing. We don't give our dogs anything but Weurva and Chewy's makes it so easy to pick tempting flavors and then have them magically appear on our doorstep. BONE Appetite.

I have a large mixed breed who has a sensitive stomach. So many wet foods gave her pretty nasty poops. She loves to get some wet food along with her kibble, so we kept looking. This one is IT!!! No tummy troubles, and she eats it like it's a dessert, lol! I only give her a couple spoonfuls with each of her 2 daily meals, so a can lasts about 3 days. I transfer the can to a mason jar after it's been opened to refrigerate. Works great for us. We have the happiest girl now!

I never write reviews but rely on them when buying a product…so I feel compelled to write this. Our dog Bailey who is a Boxer aged 13 1/2 yrs was diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease a year ago. About 4 months ago she stopped eating her dry food and was sort of going down hill, so we thought her life was coming to the final end. I started doing TONS of research and learned that there are a few special foods on the market that are recommended for dogs with Cushings, this food was at the top of many lists, and now I see why! Bailey LOVES it! I mix it with a dry recommended food for Cushings called Diamond Naturals Light Adult Dog Lamb Meal and Rice Formula, add some Liquid Health K9 Glucosamine and the PranaPets for Adrenal Support. She is like a new dog from 4 months ago! She’s loves to eat now, is playful and basically is doing AMAZING! All these products I mentioned are all sold here on Chewy, which is a plus. I think her favorite is this Weruva with Chicken Breast in Gravy. Bailey is incredibly happy and her vet said she is doing great! Again, I highly recommend!!
