What is the potassium percentage? Would love to try this but must have a low potassium diet for my CKD kitty.

Answer by ChewyMar 21, 2019
This recipe has a potassium content of 0.60% on an dry matter basis.

My cat has a very dainty appetite--are these Tiny Tasters a treat, or are they nutritionally complete so I can feed my cat only this food?

Answer by ChewyMar 12, 2019
These pouches are nutritionally complete, balanced, and can be fed on their own. It's recommended to feed 3–4 pouches daily for each 6-8 pounds of body weight. When feeding in conjunction with dry recipe, reduce the dry kibble by ⅛ cup for every 1 pouch.

What are the exact ingredients of the "Natural Flavors" listed on the ingredient list of this and all other Tiny Tasters pouches? Need to know for protein allergies.

Answer by ChewyOct 27, 2019
The Natural Flavor in Wellness food is a blend of non-animal, based natural flavor that is a blend of amino acids and minerals that are highly palatable for both dogs and cats.

Lilly approved!

My petite fourteen year old cat Lilly has always been a bit underweight, and always had a sensitive stomach. For the most part, all she could tolerate was dry food formulated for sensitive stomachs. She did well on that, but did slow down a lot as she has gotten older. A few months ago, I decided to try some new, better food to see if I could find something that wouldn't make her throw up, and help her gain some weight. I did find a few that seemed to agree with her, but she REALLY loves Tiny Tasters, and the duck flavor seems to be her favorite. She licks her bowl clean every time. She has gained weight, her coat is beautiful, and she is much more alert and playful. The most amazing part is that she never throws up anymore. I can't attribute all of that to this food, but it is the one things she eats consistently.

My 15 year old cat loves this!

Our cat has been finicky about wet food most of her life. We have tried canned food, pureed human food and human baby food, and some worked better than others.

Our cat has been finicky about wet food most of her life. We have tried canned food, pureed human food and human baby food, and some worked better than others. Eventually she grew tired of each until we found Tiny Tasters duck. She’s been eating this for close to two years and always cleans her plate. We have to add chicken broth to get the desired consistency but that’s a minor concern.

My 16 year old wasn't feeling well and wouldn't eat. The vet said she had a UTI and started her on antibiotics and an appetite stimulant. I picked up these packets and she ate it! So glad after offering her everything I could think of and getting nowhere. Duck is the favorite so far, but I have a couple others to try. It has made such a difference. I'm so happy she's eating again!

Finally found food that she finishes

My cat was feral, she had very bad teeth and when the vet wanted to x-ray her teeth to do extractions, I didn't do it. To pay $300 to just get X-rays and not know

My cat was feral, she had very bad teeth and when the vet wanted to x-ray her teeth to do extractions, I didn't do it. To pay $300 to just get X-rays and not know if I could get her back to the vet wasn't an option. I fed her canned food, but she'd just lick the juice and leave what she couldn't chew. The pouches have been a relief, not only because she's healthier but I'm happy to see her eating and getting healthier. Her coat has gotten SO much better and silkier.

First time triers

Opening the package, an immediate aroma filled my nostrils. It smelled delicious! I had them sniff and familiarize it and Mulo licked his lips and ears pointed up

Opening the package, an immediate aroma filled my nostrils. It smelled delicious! I had them sniff and familiarize it and Mulo licked his lips and ears pointed up. They have not tried duck before and reading numerous experiences I was enticed to try. Turns out they love it, cleaned bowls. Mulo came up to be and brushed against me to say thank you. And I want to say thank you Wellness because they loved it. Never felt compelled to leave a review before lol, I hope this finds the next person well, as you search for healthy and tasty food. Best of luck to you (:

Kitty life line

Our 21 year old kitty had been eating only Science Diet KD for about 5 years since she was diagnosed with kidney disease, but about a year ago she refused that food

Our 21 year old kitty had been eating only Science Diet KD for about 5 years since she was diagnosed with kidney disease, but about a year ago she refused that food and we had to feed her whatever she would eat. We went through all the brands and types of food, even tried cooked chicken breast and hot dogs, but eventually she refused everything. We were desperate, and decided to try the Tiny Tasters Duck Pate’ as a last resort— and she loved it! She ate it exclusively and happily over the last few months, months that we wouldn’t have had with her otherwise. She is gone now, but we are thankful we found something she enjoyed.

My cat had a favorite duck wet food that has become hard to find, so I tried this. Within the first couple weeks, his fur became softer than I ever remember. He loves it, too. A good switch, and I also like the portion size. We're working on helping him lose some weight.

RECOMMENDED BY MY CATS

A friend gave me several pouches of Chicken and Turkey Tiny Tasters after her cat passed away. I had never heard of these at that time. Subsequently I took over the care of a friend's cat in renal failure. Coaxing Nova to eat was a daily challenge. I tried a wide variety of tasty items; Tiny Tasters was one of the very few that still appealed to her. Part of the appeal is that this is a true pate, much softer and much smoother than any other pates I have tried, including those tiny cans and those tiny two pack plastic trays that break apart. Soft pates make it easier for a sick kitty to eat. I feel that gave her some measure of quality to her life in her final days. Tasters are now a staple at my house. My Maybelle is my most senior cat and has chronic gum/dental issues. She rarely likes the same food two days in a row, but Tiny Tasters is the exception, all flavors, so I rotate them daily -- Chicken and Turkey, Tuna, Chicken and Beef, and Duck. Currently, she is recovering from a dental cleaning and a couple of extractions, and enjoying her Tiny Tasters every day. She seems to prefer me to mash it well with a fork, rinse the pouch with a bit of warm water which I then add to her dish. She is convinced that she IS the boss of me. She is right! These pouches will always have a place in my arsenal of foods, especially when I need to tempt a sick or anorexic kitty. Being responsible for the food and vet care for 8 rescued street cats, I find that feeding these to all as a mainstay is a bit too pricey for this retired cat mom. However, I do serve them as treats. All my cats love them, all flavors. I do heartily recommend them. My cats agree!
