Your flavor "Wellness CORE Signature Selects Chunky Boneless Chicken & Wild Salmon Entree in Sauce Grain-Free Canned Cat Food, 5.3-oz, case of 12" says made in Thailand; while this flavor you say made in the USA?

Is there fish or fish oil hiding in that "natural flavor" ingredient?

Answer by ChewyJan 22, 2021
Natural Flavor is a blend of non-animal, based natural flavor that is a blend of amino acids and minerals that are highly palatable for both dogs and cats. This recipe does not contain fish or fish oil within the ingredients.

Where is wellness select made?

Answer by ChewyMay 25, 2022
This food is made in the USA. Wellness ingredients are primarily sourced from North America. WellPet has one of the most strict sourcing criteria of any pet food manufacturer. All ingredient suppliers, whether domestic or international, need to meet certified nutrient levels and be manufactured in quality audited facilities. While there are many high quality ingredients available in the U.S., in some cases there is not a readily available U.S. supply. For example, our Venison, Lamb, Rabbit and Salmon Meal are sourced internationally from New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Chile respectively. We feel that we have the appropriate quality programs in place at all our vendor locations and feel safe and secure with all the ingredients we source, whether they are sourced locally or globally.

What is the phosphorus max dry matter?

Answer by ChewyApr 06, 2022
This variety contains approximately 0.19% Phosphorus content on an as fed basis (0.96% on a dry matter basis). These recipes are formulated to target the minimum phosphorus content of 0.50% on a dry matter basis as provided by the AAFCO nutrient profiles. If your pet may have a specific health concern, we recommend consulting your Veterinarian to see what would be the safest for your pets current treatment plan.

When I received my order, I noticed that the labels on the cans were slightly different than they had been previously (the label in the product photo Chewy shows is what I'd been getting previously). Sure enough, I found the contents had changed too -- a slightly different color and texture. It turns out that my cats prefer the old formulation which was finer (i.e. smaller pieces) and had more gravy, so I went to a local pet store and purchased a few cases of it. I just wonder what exactly changed and why Wellness felt a change was necessary. It would be great if they could explain what's different now.

My kitty, male Siamese mix, Rocket, loves the signature select product. The canned food is very fresh and loaded with fresh meat or fish.

My only complaint with Wellness Signature Select is they slip tuna into the food where you're not expectin it. So, when I thought I was buying white meat chicken and beef entree, I after reading the ingrediants, found tuna. I choose to limit my cat's intake of fish. I figure a little tuna won't hurt, but Wellness should put this ingrediant on the front label. My cat's health is excellent. He's not a water drinker, so the hydration from this food (like in the wild) keeps his system healthy. I do add a bit more water to each meal. Overall, I think Wellness is a stand-up company.

my order arrived in 4 days and all my emails where answered . It's important to me I have many sick cats I house . I rely on planning there meals and knowing when there food arrives helps to do so . It saves me money out of there other funds like vet bills when I don't have to drive to town every 3 days to buy single cans buy the cases . It saves me almost 50% buying in bulk fom chewy. Com that means all my sick furry babies get more special items like toys and treats .That I use to only be able to afford on special occasions or all 13,0f them.

This seemed like a great quality of cat food . Although my kitties did not eat it . I gave it to a friend who takes care of some strays and she told me they wouldn’t

This seemed like a great quality of cat food . Although my kitties did not eat it . I gave it to a friend who takes care of some strays and she told me they wouldn’t touch it either.. she even sent a picture of the bowl with food still in it after trying to feed her stray kitties. I know humans put this food together but it should be cat tested and approved because cats know more and can tell when something is t up to their liking.

Two Out of Three Felines Approve

As with the other Signature Selects, I do not have any complaints with the quality of ingredients and the ratio of gravy to shredded meat. All 3 cats eat it

As with the other Signature Selects, I do not have any complaints with the quality of ingredients and the ratio of gravy to shredded meat. All 3 cats eat it and like it, but I would say this is their least favorite. I am guessing maybe it is more on the bland side, flavor-wise, with just shredded chicken and turkey. The positive is that I have one cat who acts like every meal is his last and he eats so fast that I have to keep him away from also gobbling down the other cats' meals. This is the one flavor that he eats slowly and he doesn't try to eat his sister's and "cousin's" food.

My 16 lb. Maine Coon (who loves to eat) has been starting to wander and become uninterested in her meals as of the last shipment. It's evident just by looking at the product that the formula has changed. The consistency is much more gelatinous, as opposed to gravy. I will have to look for an alternative now because I see no reason to feed a non-finicky kitty food that she no longer enjoys. I can no longer recommend this or the chicken and beef flavor. I gave 3 stars because she does eventually eat it and it is an overall healthy food, but feeding time is now twice as long as it used to be because she is uninterested in the food now.
