Poor Quality Food I’ve been buying this food for 17+ years and the quality has gone downhill dramatically. EVERY DAY I open these two varieties of food (shrimp and/or salmon) and I spend 20 minutes picking through taking out hard dark scales, fish skin and bones throughout the can. My cat loved the flavor but she won’t touch it now unless I pick out all the bad stuff. I throw away almost a 1/4 of the can each time I open a new one. This food is too expensive to be sifting through and putting in the trash every day! I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Only gave 2 stars because my cat used to like this flavor.

Wonderful food, especially for sick cats!

I bought this for my FeLV+ cat after she started to take a turn for the worst and would only eat canned food with broth/flakes. Before this food, I was blending tuna and Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers together because that's the only thing she would eat. After looking into canned foods to see if I could find one with a broth and flakes that would still give her nutrition, I found this! I just gave her the first can and I was to impressed I immediately had to write a review. She inhaled it, and for a cat who lately would only casually lick at the bowl until all the meat was pushed out, that was amazing to see. I'm so glad I found a food that she likes but isn't bad for her. Hoping this will help keep her around a little longer. The food also seemed to have a strong smell to it so I'm hoping I'll be able to easily hide her medications in it this evening.

Seed oil

My lovely cat loves it, he finishes every serving of the skip Jack tuna and shrimp. I like that is relatively low in ash, wish it was lower but not happy that all

My lovely cat loves it, he finishes every serving of the skip Jack tuna and shrimp. I like that is relatively low in ash, wish it was lower but not happy that all the cat food contains seed oils. Seed oils are unhealthy for humans and more than likely are worse to the little pets health

Good for borderline disease kidney but some quality control issues

I buy this for my cat with borderline kidney disease, as it has lower protein and phosphorus and has been good for his kidneys. (Side note: He also eats a prescription RC dry kidney food.) Cons: 1) It has big chunks of shrimp and tuna that my cat will not eat - wish they were not in there. 2) Consistency over time seems to vary. I've been buying this for a few years now, and sometimes I'll get some cases where the food looks different. My cat notices too because he doesn't eat as much. 3) I've found large pieces of sharp bone on two occasions. I gave 4 stars because his kidneys are doing well on it, but I'm not so sure about the quality control of the manufacturing process.

Cat's favorite food!

Great as usual! My snowshoe is very picky, he will try the wet food after 2girls, but if the food is great enough then he'll eat it with them :) they finished immediately!

I misinterpreted the title of this food. I mistakenly thought "entree in broth" was more like a texture of bits in gravy, which it is not. Like most cats, mine is picky. She does not like the consistency of this at all. I don't know exactly how to describe it, other than it's goopy. I tried adding water, to which she will lick whatever gravy it creates and leaves the food behind. I bought both the tuna and shrimp and the tuna and salmon with the same outcome.

I bought this because the Wellness pouches were out of stock, and I am so happy. My Piccolo would only eat the gravy and leave the chunks of the pouches and I hated wasting food and money. I've tried so many of those mousse products, but haven't found one that doesn't make her turn her nose up. This product is a little thicker consistency than the mousses and has a few select food chunks THAT SHE LOVES--Piccolo literally licks her bowl clean. I've actually never seen her do that. I finally feel like I'm worthy in her eyes! It's very demoralizing when every wet food you try is met with disdain. Hopefully, this isn't just the "honeymoon" period. I'm going to try the other flavors as well, just in case she gets bored.

I have five cats with different issues and the one I bought it for needs a Limited Ingredient food. He’s allergic to almost every protein except fish and seafood, as well as flaxseed, which is in almost all of Wellness, so I’m not totally sold on this for long-term. Plus, another cat isn’t fond of it and another threw up. I also prefer to buy my cat’s food from USA, not Thailand, which is where this is made but I will for the sake of my cat’s needs. As far as I can tell, for food, there’s only seafood, along with supplements??!!

Seems like quality but expensive

All three of my cats like this food. But it is cheaper to buy fresh seafood, and cook extra for my cats. I don’t think the convenience of having an imported cat

All three of my cats like this food. But it is cheaper to buy fresh seafood, and cook extra for my cats. I don’t think the convenience of having an imported cat food in a can at double the cost of fresh quality fish per pound makes sense. It seems like a very good product. I didn’t understand why it needed to be made in Thailand and imported. The cost is prohibitive. Per pound it is more expensive than buying quality fresh fish like salmon.

Finally something they EAT

I have two 7-year old domestic long hair cats (they're brothers) who are very picky and finicky!! I've tried SO many canned foods, and this flavor and the Tuna and Salmon variety they also like. Those are the only 2 flavors they will eat so that's all I get now! Easy! They share 1 can twice a day. (I also give them Royal Canin Hairball formula DRY FOOD. They graze on that during the day.) I can't tell you how much food I've had to waste and throw out b/c they wouldn't eat it! I want them to like a HEALTHY food and this doesn't have all the garbage in it. My cats are healthier for it, too. So glad I FINALLY found something they love!! I feel the better the quality food, the less time spent at the vet. Chewy is great-the service is unbeatable-price is fair- you get your order within 2 days! Nicely packaged, too! Thanks Chewy!
