After losing our sweet 16 yr old cat last year to kidney disease and hyperthyroidism, who ate "quality" dry cat food, I was concerned her diet might have been a contributing factor. So I wanted to get educated on cat food before deciding what to feed our new kitty. After numerous hrs of online research, I decided to feed our 3 month old kitten a combination of wet and dry food, and decided on Wellness Complete Health Kitten Formula Grain-Free Canned Cat Food as the best choice for the wet food. It's more expensive than other options, but the recipe has the best, recommended ingredients. When I placed the order, I was hopeful she'd like it since it'd be good for her and it'd be costly for the 24 3oz can case minimum if she didn't. But she doesn't just like it... She loves it! She gets so excited every time I get out a can and she starts purring when I set it in front of her. She currently eats 1/2 can 3 times a day. We leave out dry food for her to nibble when she wants and, per research, she has 2 water bowls (opposite ends of the house) separate from her food. To save some money, I opted for auto ship (5% savings) and we'll be getting the 5.5oz cans (6¢/oz savings over 3oz cans).

Our kittens were introduced to this around 4-5 weeks of age. They had a ferral mother and due to unfortunate circumstances ended up in our life too early to be without her. The man who was taking care of them before us had them on some garbage $0.20 adult cat food from a grocery store - they were NOT looking good... We switched to this as they showed interest in consuming wet foods (especially our 12 y.o boy's food lol), and let me tell you. Just after one week of this food they were rapidly gaining weight and filling out, their eyes were bright, they were having regular bowel movements and they loved it. So many good veggies and you can even see them in the paté. I mix in a little water just to make it even more moist and to keep them hydrated. At 9 weeks old now they still love it! Showed it to my vet they said it was a good choice and if they loved it to keep with it - no use in switching again to cause bowel stress.

So, I feed my cats what I consider to be the best. Most of that time, this means paying the hefty price attached to Royal Canin food. In preparation for bringing my new 4-month-old kitten "Marney" home, I stocked up on both dry and canned RC kitten food. To my amazement, she took one sniff and refused to eat. I tried multiple times with the same result. Coincidentally, I purchased (2) cases of this Wellness Health Grain Free Kitten food to use in my recovery room (TNR recovery), so I opened a can of this and she went nuts for it, licked the bowl clean, which she had never done before (I helped foster her before I adopted.). So glad I picked this food up blindly because it was on sale last month. Looks like the recovery room kittens will end up with the expensive RC kitten crack! :)

We just adopted an 8-week old kitten and I tried several different brands of canned, grain-free food on him over several days to see what he would prefer. He ate all of them, but the Wellness grain free is his favorite. He eats it heartily (not as enthusiastic about other brands, except for Merrick Purrfect Bistro grain free, which he also likes better than some others). We feed our dogs wellness core grain free dry kibble, so I wanted to try the brand for the kitten. Since he loves it so much, I will be feeding him this and offering him the dry cat kibble version until he's ready to go over to dry as his main food. He nibbles at the kibble, but still prefers the wet food at this point. It certainly keeps him filled with energy and he seems to digest it well.

I rescue cats. I feed them, get them vaccinated, spayed and neuter, and give them as much love as I can. I also wake up early every single morning to place wet and dry food on my patio for the cats that show up for a meal. I repeat this routine later in the evenings. As you can imagine, it can become very costly and sometimes physically physically exhausting as I am a senior woman now. But I keep going because it is very fulfilling and I care. So I count on Chewy to provide cat food that is healthy and at an affordable price. I appreciate any Cheey cat food deals on the foods I generally order. I am on a fixed income and therefore those deals really helps. Recently, I discovered 7 small kittens inside the cat shelters on my patio. I now added food for kittens to my Chewy orders. Thank-you Chewy. Please, please, please keep those cat food deals coming. It would make my life easier and the lives of my furbabies happier.

We were looking for a quality wet food for our kittens to start eating and was recommended wet "Wellness Kitten" food from another breeder. We've been using it for a year and have found it to be a quality food. The kittens love it, and we've had no problems with diarrhea or vomiting. We've even had one kitten that demands "Wellness Kitten" wet food, and no other food! It may be a little more expense, then some other wet foods on the market, but we have found the extra expense worth the health of our kittens. Cathy from Whisker Oaks Cattery

I happened to stumble onto this wet cat food by accident. My normal kitten food wasn't available. My 9 month Julia has no food allergies or intolerances yet, and as soon as I opened this new can she absolutely dug her face in. I happened to find her old canned food and tried to feed her the old brand again. However, Julia refused to eat it. She loves her Wellness Kitten food and thankfully has been a very healthy feline thus far.

I searched and searched, read reviews and found Wellness brand (complete health kitten) to be the perfect canned food for her growing needs. She is now 6 months old and LOVES her food, I am sticking with this until she gets to be a year old or so…. check the ingredients if you are wondering, all the good stuff is right is in there!

Last year we were blessed with a mother kitty who brought her little family of 6 into our backyard. Of the five kittens two of them we ended up keeping and I've been racking my brain trying to make sure they get the proper nutrition during this crucial point in their development. For awhile I was feeding them another brand and they liked it enough but I found it was getting harder and harder to find so about four month into their little lives I switched to Wellness. For anyone raising kittens, there isn't a lot of variety when it comes to kitten food. And really it's the only thing I would request as a slight change. At least one or two other options of flavors for the kittens, but other than that my Kittens LOVE this and have been for awhile. I've been feeding them this and the Kitten CORE by Wellness as well and their coats have always been bright and shiny. They gobble it up hungrily, and they seem filled with boundless energy. It's been a winner for awhile and as I said, my only critique is I wish there were more kitten formula options out there. At least a tuna option or something.

At 6.5 weeks old, one of my kittens wasn't eating well, but when I opened the first can of Wellness Kitten Grain Free, they both ate until they had huge bellies! They were on this food for about two months, until my picky boy decided he wanted something else, but I'd still recommend it to anyone with babies. My boys are now four months old, gorgeous, with beautiful fur, and always get an A+ from the vet.
