All of the following values are on a dry matter basis. The Chicken variety contains approximately 1.96% Phosphorus, 1.92% Calcium and 0.08% Magnesium content. The Turkey variety contains approximately 1.85% Phosphorus, 1.81% Calcium and 0.08% Magnesium content. The Turkey and Salmon variety contains approximately 1.92% Phosphorus, 2.27% Calcium and 0.09% Magnesium content.

What is the carbohydrate % for these foods?

The Chicken Pate has a carbohydrate content of 0.19% as fed, 0.78% on a dry matter basis. The Turkey Dinner Pate has a carbohydrate content of 0.35% as fed, 1.52% on a dry matter basis. The Turkey and Salmon has a carbohydrate content of 0.43% as fed, 1.87% on a dry matter basis.

The Turkey has a sodium content of approximately 0.27% on an as fed basis and 1.14% on a dry matter basis. We have her the turkey and salmon last night. I have a super sniffer and the first thing I noticed was this cat food smells a lot better than any of the many pate foods we've given her over the last ten years. Cali the cat agreed, as she was excited and eager to try it. She gobbled it down, licked her dish spotless, and kept licking her chops with a satisfied look on her face. We just gave her some for lunch, and she ate every molecule again, and then to our amazement, started playing with her toys with energy we haven't seen in many years. We are so happy to see her reaction to this food. We were spending good money, first on well known pates, then on "healthy" pates, and she either wouldn't eat them or would just eat a little. We have never seen her have such a great reaction to wet food, until now.

Beware of false ingredient list online; no chicken hearts!

I’ve been feeding my kittens Wellness kitten food for months and am now transitioning them to adult food, so I bought this variety pack to test out which type they’d like. I ordered this specifically because it included organs such as chicken hearts. I almost ordered Tiki cat after dark, but since I saw this Wellness pate had chicken liver and hearts I thought it was a great cheap alternative, plus I wouldn’t have to switch brands. However, when it arrived and I checked the ingredient list on the box and three different products themselves, I was surprised to see there were no chicken hearts mentioned in any of the three types. Reached out to Chewy and they are unsure if the product ever contained chicken hearts, but referred the issue to higher management to be looked into. However, I’m still deeply concerned at the misleading labels online and am questioning what is actually inside these food products. I hope this is handled soon and addressed as I (and my cats) love Wellness, but this is causing me to reconsider repurchasing any of these items, as I’d planned to buy a case of whichever my cats preferred from the variety pack. Be wary of this product cat parents!

Two of the flavors, the chicken and the turkey, were pretty normal, smelled like the rest of the Wellness line and had the same consistency. But the turkey and salmon flavor was totally different; it had a stiffer consistency and smelled unusually vile even for cat food. My cat, who is not a picky eater, just walked away and told me she would be back when I got this figured out, which I did by giving the remaining cans of that flavor to a friend.
