This product has clear and easy to understand feeding directions that I really appreciate. I feel like the ingredients are also normal and are all things that I would expect to be in a supplemental treat without any crazy additives or chemicals. My two cats also enjoyed the taste of these and had zero hesitation eating them which I love, I hate having to sneak in supplements into their diet.

I thought these chews would be good for one of my sebior cats because he frequently has urinary issues. However, once he started on these chews, he began urinating on my floor. Once I realized the only that changed was these chews, I stopped giving them to him and he's been using the litter box again ever since. I'm not sure why that would happen, but he seems fine now. I do have another cat that really likes the chews. I'm not sure if they're actually helping him in anyway, but he likes them and seems fine with them.

I have 3 cats with very different tolerances for supplements. All 3 enjoy this product, even the one that is suspicious of chicken. So if you need a urinary supplement that will be consumed happily, give this one a try. The supplement contains multiple ingredients to support bladder and gut health. The gut health bit is dubious, a "proprietary blend" that's likely mostly pro- and pre-biotics. No harm there. D-mannose helps prevent bladder infection, which is helpful especially in cats who aren't good groomers. Dl-methionine is generally only recommended under veterinary supervision - be cautious using this more than occasionally without checking with your vet. But the quantity is quite low, and as mentioned none of our cats have any objections to the treat. If your vet does recommend l-methionine, this product contains the gentler version and is apparently quite palatable, a great way to get some supplements into bad pill takers (which is 2 of my 3 cats!). It will be safe for regular use in most adult cats, especially at less than recommended dose.

Because this is a supplement it's hard to tell yet how helpful this product will be. I have given it to two of my cats, one of which has a history of urinary tract blockages. Both cats readily ate the soft chews, but I haven't gotten to full dosage yet. Cutting one in half for my smaller cat was a problem as they crumbled and fell apart. I cannot yet say I'd recommend this product until I've seen more results. But I would definitely recommend Chewy.com to anyone with pets. I especially like the fact that it's possible to talk to a real person on the phone when there's a problem. The staff is always helpful and cheerful.
