I only gave these soft chews 4 stars bc for some reason Daisy will only eat them on her terms. Some days Yes! Other days… absolutely Not! But when her Dad gives them to her, she eats them Every.Single.Time. Frustrating for me but my Husband gets a kick out of it. You get A LOT for your money (which is very important these days)… 90 to be exact. These are good for her due to her age. The Glucosamine + Chondroitin are great for her joints, hips and occasional stiffness. The fact that they also support a healthy gut is an added bonus. When Daisy eats them, she runs and jumps around like a chicken w/it’s head cut off! (Gross description but exactly accurate). If you’re on the fence, just give them a try. Your dog will benefit from them.

I started my 9 year old Staffordshire terrier, Doof, on this at half the dose, as stated on the package. Doof has both issues with his gut, and is on Rimadyl, due to arthritis in his front and back paws. I have always added bone broth and glucosamine to his diet; this would be easier, if it works. After the first day, there were no issues with gas, vomiting, or weird poops, so I upped it. He is now, after three days, taking the recommended dose, and has had no side effects. His gut issues seem to be controlled for the moment, and the joint additive is enough that he isn't limping. This happens if he isn't taking glucosamine/chondroitin, even with the meds. He loves the taste, sitting patiently, waiting for the nibbles. So far, I would definitely recommend this item, for ease in use, taste, effectiveness, ingredients, and, though sourced globally, is manufactured here in the US, and we love that! Doof gives it a 5 paw rating, with tail wagging!

These chews had an odor that did not smell particularly pleasing to me but also was not objectionable. The dogs were also hesistant to eat these but only initially as they now gobble them up. Dogs were having loose stools prior but have now improved since starting these. Not sure if these helped but nothing else had changed. If they help my old girl's joints as well then it is a 100% win.

This looks to be a good supplement, our 13yr old lab mix has chronic colitis and has to be on a low fat diet etc. When I received this product she was in a flare so I couldn't start it. She suffers from bad arthritis and is on daily Carprofen so the combination joint supplement and probiotic was an added benefit. So far she's tolerated it, but it's too soon to tell if it will help her mobility.
