My 4-year-old Aussie is overly protective of me, so it's always been difficult when we have someone visiting us. I hesitate to give her a prescription med and opted for trying these chewables. She was much better when my sister was visiting over the holidays this year. She let my sister pet her and would even go to her for belly rubs. I started with only 1 chew, but based on her stress level, upped it to 2 chews daily. Gut boost is an added benefit because she has always had a sensitive stomach.

It’s hard to tell if they help my dog. I think most of us that are looking for a calming supplement usually have a pet with anxiety which is hard to treat without knocking them out with a prescription drug. My dog has horrible separation anxiety. When we adopted him we knew he came from a household where he was left alone possibly for days. The chews seem to have great active ingredients and very few inactive ingredients which I like. I think maybe with regular use they could be helpful. He does eat them eagerly. He is only 12 pounds so giving half a chew at this time. They are easy to break. Fingers crossed!
