These are the best clippers for dogs that I have ever used. I cut my springer's hair a few times a year. I have tried several different clippers (dog, llama/sheep, human), and it's always a challenge between the loud clippers making him nervous and the blades not handling his thick hair. These clippers are so quiet that he's not phased by them. He sat still and content for the duration of the cut! These are lightweight and made quick work of his cut. They glided through his hair and didn't get stuck at all. My only complaint is that there are no guards. I found that cutting with the grain produced an even finish, but going against the grain made the cut patchy, too short, and red in some areas. The first use had a small learning curve, and now I'm ready and not dreading future cuts!

The Wahl clippers are wonderful. Our dog is a mixed breed Poodle & Chihuahua with very curly hair. These clippers cut thru even her matted areas like a hot knife

Quiet, easy to use

I upgraded from a 10 year old clippers to these. I have wire haired dogs and this clipper cut through their hair like butter. Took me no time at all to clip them,

I upgraded from a 10 year old clippers to these. I have wire haired dogs and this clipper cut through their hair like butter. Took me no time at all to clip them, so they were much more comfortable. I am also pleased with being able to pop the blades off easily for proper cleaning and oiling. Love these, we'll worth the money I save by not having to get my dogs groomed.

These are the only affordable clippers I have found to cut my goldendoodle’s hair like butter. Everyone other clipper does not work. We get our moneys worth with these after 2 hair cuts, as it’s $80 to go to the groomers. They are very quiet. The only downside is they do get warm quickly. We take a break 15 minutes into using them to let them cool.

It was not a great fit for us due to the large, bulky size, and I found grooming my dog with the chord to be slightly challenging. But it is an excellent product

I loved this clipper. Wahl is great quality, and this was priced well (plus I loved the pink!). Being corded was no problem, but I did need more power for my very curly Doodle and ended up returning it and going for a more powerful Wahl. Chewy is great in so many ways and totally understood my problem. This clipper would have been perfect for the majority of dogs just not mine!

Had to watch a video on removal and putting on the clipper blade. The metal blade guide wasn't moving at first, but I got it going and can change the blade on it

Had to watch a video on removal and putting on the clipper blade. The metal blade guide wasn't moving at first, but I got it going and can change the blade on it. It came with a 10 blade, so I tried it on my pups paw, and it cleaned it right off, without applying pressure. I just got it and groom my 2 dogs at home, one being a Maltipoo. I needed a clipper that can handle his thick curly hair.
