These are the best clippers for dogs that I have ever used. I cut my springer's hair a few times a year. I have tried several different clippers (dog, llama/sheep, human), and it's always a challenge between the loud clippers making him nervous and the blades not handling his thick hair. These clippers are so quiet that he's not phased by them. He sat still and content for the duration of the cut! These are lightweight and made quick work of his cut. They glided through his hair and didn't get stuck at all. My only complaint is that there are no guards. I found that cutting with the grain produced an even finish, but going against the grain made the cut patchy, too short, and red in some areas. The first use had a small learning curve, and now I'm ready and not dreading future cuts!

We get our moneys worth with these after 2 hair cuts, as it’s $80 to go to the groomers. They are very quiet. The only downside is they do get warm quickly. We take a break 15 minutes into using them to let them cool.

I bought this clipper after my Andis suddenly stopped working properly. I have three doodles, all wavy, two with thicker hair. The clipper works great, cuts smoothly. There are two things I wasn’t quite happy about. It does get hot, however, I am clipping three dogs all in the same half-day. I did use spray and rest breaks to help cool it down, but at the same time, I wanted to get done! The second thing is it’s kind of heavy. All in all, nice clippers that cut smoothly.
