This raw freeze-dried duck neck was a delight for my dog! I appreciate that it is a freeze-dried treat with no intense pungent odor, but my dog can still enjoy it thoroughly. It is a great option for providing your dog with a high quality, natural treat without unnecessary artificial ingredients or any additives. The treat is a good size for a wide variety of dogs, and has just enough crunch without being dry enough to shatter or splinter. Note that this is better suited as a treat than a chew; my dog finished it in about one minute as a moderate chewer. My dog is about 50 lbs and this treat was the perfect size snack for her. She was immediately enticed and gobbled it right up! We love adding a variety of high quality treats into her diet, and this is one your dogs won't want to miss!

The Vital Essentials Raw Duck Neck was a hit at my house. I have a golden doodle and an Australian shepherd. Both dogs love to chew. I only had one duck neck, so I cut it in half. They loved it! They chewed it up and swallowed it so fast that I was in disbelief! The Duck Neck is a good size, so even cutting it in half, the dogs got a good portion. When I took it out of the package there was no strong odor and it wasn't greasy. It was gone before I could get a picture of them enjoying it! If you are considering the duck neck for a nice treat for your dog, I highly recommend the Vital Essentials Raw Duck Neck.

She loved this treat. Very crunchy, good size for a medium dog (44#) like her. I didn't give it a 5 because it didn't last any time at all. She enjoyed it, but I was disappointed that it was gone so quickly. I prefer something that she can work on a little longer, both to occupy her time, and help clean her teeth. This was gone in less time than it would take me to eat a couple of cookies. I'm not sure it's worth the price. I might buy it as a special birthday treat or something.

I always look for freeze-dried necks for my dogs, but they have become hard to find on Chewy's site lately. However, this was sent as a product review. As expected, my dogs loved it. I like that it's really just one ingredient and I know my dogs are getting something nutritional and healthy. My only concern is my one dog seemed to gag on it a bit. It made me concerns as it could be a choke hazard, but he managed to get it down.

The most interesting part is that my picky dog chewed it right up, and my food loving dog who eats almost anything, refused it at first, But she had second thoughts and decided to chomp it up. It was a little greasier than I expected, not very greasy but a little. Ultimately, this is a 4+ star treat!
