My Ben has been a finicky eater, especially since we left him with friends for two days so we could go to a funeral. He decided he'd stop eating when we were gone, but he wanted to be hand-fed. So when we got home, we used the same trick when he was a puppy: freeze-dried bits and pieces of chicken and turkey, crushed them, and stirred them in. He loved it! When I saw the freeze-dried beef liver, I had to get it for him! I am so glad I did! Thank you, Chewy, for the fast delivery and Vital essentials for yummy freeze-dried beef livers!! My senior dog loves these beef liver treats. When it's treat time, he stares at the bag, looks at me, and then looks back to the bag. I know he is asking for the beef liver treats even when there are other options that he knows are there for him and that are near where this bag is kept. Also, I'm not sure if they are helping with his bad breath or making it worse, because upon opening the bag each time...they stink! After he eats them his breath is smellier than normal. So be ready for some smelly breath coming from your dog after having a treat. I am hopeful that my dog will have better health because of the nutrients that are in liver. I use these treats along with other healthful dog remedies in hopes I am doing the right thing for him as he embarks in his senior years. At any rate, I highly recommend these beef liver treats. They are "my doggie" approved. :)

Then started looking through the bag to find many more. I’m no expert and don’t know if that is intended, desirable for dogs, or even safe. I didn’t want to chance it. As always Chewy was wonderful; after a quick chat with customer service I was offered refund. It’s a big NOPE for me.
