How many cups of food can I get out of the 30lbs bag, so I know how often I need to have it delivered?

There are approximately 20 cups of kibble in the 5 pound bag, approximately 60 cups of kibble in the 15 pound bag and approximately 120 cups of kibble in the 30 pound bag.

Is taurine added to this food? It doesn't appear to be listed as an ingredient

Taurine is listed in the ingredients under the nutritional info. This formula contains 1180 milligrams per kilograms of Taurine.

Does the Yukon River Valley have chicken or chicken broth? My dog is allergic.

This formula does not contain chicken or chicken broth however, it does contain chicken fat within the ingredients. Since chicken fat doesn't contain the allergen that the chicken protein contains, generally pets don't have a reaction to the food. We recommend consulting with your veterinarian to determine if it would be appropriate for your individual pet. Through trial and error, I have discovered that my 2 dogs do best on grain free, salmon based foods. Victor Yukon River is a perfect fit. It works for both my 7 month old lab/catahoula mix and my 11 year old boxer/german shepard mix. I like that Victor is an all stages food so I can feed them the same thing. You can't go wrong with any Victor formula, this just happens to be the one that works best for my dogs. Victor Grain Free formulas are rated 5 stars. The first criteria for me (besides quality ingredients obviously) is taste. If your dog won't eat it, it doesn't matter how great the food is, right? Apparently this smells and tastes amazing to my dogs based on their reactions. My old guys especially is known to be picky, and he loves this food. The reasons it makes me happy are: no gas, minimal and firm stool, and extremely minimal shedding. My older dog used to shed mountains of hair, and on this food I brush him and barely get a handful. Every dog is different of course, but if you are looking for a grain free salmon based food I highly recommend this.

I have a big 85 Lb Mutt Mix who was the blonde pup of his litter. (Odd)My guy was born with all types of stomach issues, skin allergies, and a sensitive stomach. If I feed him anything different he swells up with hives. He was on Victor Chicken Meal and Brown Rice since he was little with less irritation. However, I decided to give him Beef Meal & Brown Rice since I do cook him steak and he does well. Unfortunately, my guy couldn't adjust to the New Food, he was covered in Hives and his Frito paws got so irritated and red. He got a yeast paw infection, irritated tummy, hives, and itchy skin. I know it is just my dog. Not the Victor Brand. I called Chewy reg: Victor who refunded me while I switched my beast over to The Yukon River Salmon & Sweet Potato. He didn't need much time to change over. He didn't get any allergy, No Hive, No itchy skin, and he DEVOURS this tasty food! Of course, it smells like fish. He is so happy and gets excited to eat his dinner. I highly recommend this if you have a dog with immune issues or sensitivities. He is VERY HAPPY

I've been feeding my dog fromm for about 4yrs now before that I tried everything and it gave him very horrible gas (like leave your own home there's been a bomb set offfff) lol We recently relocated and chewy.com isn't delivering Fromm products anymore So the search began again I walked into a feeder store in Amsterdam Ny sadly the fromm was sold out So this Gentleman asked if I had used Victor before and said no After he explained the product I decided to try it what the heck I can always bring it back Right!! OMG its been about 6days and my very sweet 8yr old pitbull Aura is back to running around n happier then ever I thought his age was getting the best of him My God was I mistaken!!!! Now hopefully His allergies clear up in the next week (which he's had all his life) and its a HIT!! BY THE WAY HE LOVES THIS FOOD!

Finally, No Snow!

Almost a year ago, we got a 10-month-old Lab. His skin and coat weren't great. As time went on we tried different foods and different shampoos to make the dandruff stop. Not only did he have dandruff, but when he played on the concrete patio, he forever skinned his legs and bloodied his feet. Our other Lab pup had none of these issues, but they both had really loose stools. We tried Victor Lamb and Rice, Victor Chicken and Rice, Natural Balance Vegetarian, Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Venison, Orijen Red, Orijen Original. None of these helped with any of the problems. Oddly the most expensive Orijen varieties were the worst causing explosive diarrhea--I mean all over the walls, floors, and crates. We thought it was a Lab thing since our Yorkie had no issues all through all of these food changes. Now, NOW, there is no diarrhea NOR skinned legs NOR bloody feet NOR snowy dandruff. Plus, both the Labs have very soft fur now instead of coarse needle-like hair. HURRAY!!!!

This dog food is packed with protein, my dog loves it! It also does not contain all the fillers most other dog foods have, with that noted my dog eats less and feels more satisfied, in turn saves me money! My dog is a German Working line German Shepherd she is 11 months old. Also with less fillers the output is less and easier for her to pass. Absolutely no gassiness from her either! First found this brand from my breeder as she travels to Florida to train my dogs sire and this is one of the tops brands of dog food in Florida! Not many stores have this product and i would have to travel almost an hour just to get this one item and it costs less on here too!!

My dogs all had skin itching issues. I took them to vet and they determined it was an allergy. I tried all kinds of dog food to resolve issue. I did some research and decided to try Victor. I am so glad I did! ALL skin issues went away. After a year, I thought I would switch to a "healthy" cheaper dog food brand. Itching came back. I went back to Victor salmon sweet potato and my dogs are super healthy and have great skin and coats. All skin issues resolved. I highly recommend this product. You don't need to feed as much as it is nutrient and protein dense. I soak mine with water because I have a couple of old dogs. My dogs eat it up. I refuse to feed them anything else!

I was leary to change food after using wellness for our other dogs for about 13 years as well as for our girls for a year as puppies. Our local place recommended Victor when our Bassets were ready for adult food. The wellness puppy food never sat right with them but I trusted it as a brand. After carefully researching Victor I was anxious to see how they'd take to it...well they love it. Their potty breaks have been easier to handle and they seem happy no digestive issues whatsoever and energetic and healthy. Highly recommend plus great value and I like how they use Wild caught salmon.

Our 2-year old lab will eat just about anything but has a surprisingly sensitive stomach. Anything with chicken meal gives him diarrhea. After much analysis, we tried Victor Grain Free Yukon and it has been awesome. His poops are well formed and are pretty small - I think most of it is digested. His coat is super shiny and he barely sheds. Whenever our relatives watch him and give him other food or treats he sheds like crazy but on this food - there is a noticeable difference. 4 cups a day and a small handful midnight snack and he's perfectly satisfied. He hunts in the fall and has great energy for the woods and the creek every day.

We are so pleased with the Yukon Victor grain free. Victor is one of the only grain free foods that are not linked with any heart issues and no recalls. We've been using Hero for years since they were puppies and our GSDs are extremely healthy and active. Tried the Yukon for one who has a dense coat and was itching. The itching is subsiding considerably. Only wish I would like is if Victor would add the glucosamine and chronoditin to this. I like the extra help to keep their joints safe and healthy.

Ever since I had my dogs one being 6 and the other 1.5 years they have remain on Orijen fish. But due to them eating a ton buying orijen every 2-3 weeks was killing my pocket this food thus far they have done amazing on. No reactions as they are allergic to everything no change in stool they even have more energy. I love the the price its affordable and it's a high protien diet. My dogs lick their bowls everything time. Plus I love that Chewy I buy everything on here and get it within two days!!
