Victor ocean fish formula doesn’t list good calorie content

How is your chicken fat processed? Is it very pure or does it have trace amounts of protein in it?

I can't read the back of the bag. Can you tell me where this is manufactured and if all ingredients are American sourced?

VICTOR Pet Food is prepared at their own Texas based production facility in Mount Pleasant, TX. VICTOR is proudly produced and sold in the USA. They put their hearts into making the kibble that provides the best nutrition for your pets. The manufacturer will source all their high-quality ingredients within a 200 mile radius of their facility depending on availability.

Does this food have a distinct fish smell? My pup is very picky and will not eat if the food does not have a strong smell..

We were using Victor Yukon River and as the 9 pups reached 8 weeks, they knocked out our supply so we rushed down to TSC to get a bag before our auto ship from Chewy

We were using Victor Yukon River and as the 9 pups reached 8 weeks, they knocked out our supply so we rushed down to TSC to get a bag before our auto ship from Chewy arrived. Well they were out of the Yukon River, so we purchased a bag of the Ocean Fish. They absolutely love it. Mom, Dad, and the kids ate it up. Changed our auto ship to two of the Ocean Fish bags. No stomach issues at all. Smooth transition. I’m believe they actually prefer the flatter shape as well. They really love the change.

So thankful for this food!

Our Great Dane puppy was having gastrointestinal issues (uncontrollable diarrhea) and finally figured out he has a chicken allergy. Thankful this brand was recommended

Our Great Dane puppy was having gastrointestinal issues (uncontrollable diarrhea) and finally figured out he has a chicken allergy. Thankful this brand was recommended so we took a chance and tried it. Within 3 days of starting this food, (without transitioning) the diarrhea completely stopped! After 3 weeks, we noticed the major changes in his coat and see that he’s finally putting on weight! So happy that this is a food he likes and we can keep him on for life!

I have a Doberman, as we know they typically have dry skin. I have to use a fish based product or else he gets terrible dandruff and scratches all the time. I used to add coconut oil to his food which sometimes caused loose stools. I have used this product for 6 weeks (and still have another weeks worth in the bag by the way) and I have seen a significant improvement in his skin, hair, eyes and just overall happiness and engagement. I also love the added supplements like taurine, L-carnitine and consequin added to the feed. I only wish they were in higher quantities. But grateful its in there at all.

We adopted a 15 year old Australian cattle dog from a NJ horse rescue farm that was closing. The owner fed Jake Victor ocean fish formula. So we stayed with it. He's a pescatarian! He's a good boy and gets along well with our 2 greyhound rescues. I would say he's enjoying his new home!!

I have to admit, I'm a dogfood advisor follower so if I'm going to change Evike's diet, that's where I go for advice to see how a food is rated. I wanted to switch her back to a fish- or salmon-based formula from chicken, and VICTOR fit the bill perfectly, in its rating, its formulation, available in a 40# bag, and price. Then when she ATE it, even after the transition (okay, she's never been picky, I wasn't worried), it was VICTOR for the win! Highly recommended!

My 105lb Rottweiler was having major stomach issues, vet couldn’t even find out what it was. He was on Purina Pro Plan before I switched to this food. He had very bad diarrhea, constant farts and urgency to go to the bathroom almost every hour. Since I switched to this food and added Fortiflora he has no more stomach issues anymore and the best part is, I don’t have to clean up diarrhea outside! That’s what I call a win-win situation. I definitely recommend!

My dog Hance is a gray pittie with sensitive skin, allergies, and a wonky immune system thanks to parvovirus he had as a pup. He’s now 7 and had begun losing hair on his back, tail, and chest. After some research, we started him in Victor Ocean Fish. 1) he loves it. 2) it smells strong, but, oh well 3) within 6 weeks his hair has grown back! I didn’t think it was possible with just food alone, but we are so happy with the results! It’s def worth a try if you have a sensitive dog.

Solved Our Stomach Issues!!

We landed on Victor Ocean Fish Formula after a couple months of my Australian Shepard randomly getting sick all over the house while we were at work. I actually called a representative for Victor to discuss my dogs issues and ask about their food. She genuinely cared and helped me with which formula to try. She even suggested a slow feeder bowl and picking his water up during feeds to help his digestion. This sold me on the company immediately. My dog has not had a single upset stomach since starting this food and he even regained some of his puppy like energy and seems happier overall!

My German Shepherd, Ava, has severe skin allergies. I have tried several other brands of food with her. Her fur was still very matte and brittle and her skin flaky. However, Victor Ocean Fish food has transformed her fur and skin! She's not scratching nearly as much even though she's only been on this food for about a month. I highly recommend this!
