Helpful for joint issues

I have a Newfie and she is 10.5 years old. I have fed her Victor Performance (green bag) for several years until the recall. I switched for a couple months to something else. I noticed her health was declining but thought it was bc she is old. I called a mobile vet to the house to either get a pain killer or put her down it was so bad. Thankfully he wanted to try the pain killer. She used it for a couple weeks and in the meantime Victor came back in stock. Literally within 1.5 bags of RealTree Max-5 she got so much better and as she is still wiggly in the knees she gets up and moves now. I don’t give her the pain pills anymore. Victor: please don’t do this to us. This food is like a miracle to her and she eats it willingly. I wouldn’t say she loves it, BUT when mixed with wet, it’s gone fast. Shes a grazer. I attribute Victor to her regaining function again. I like the green bag but stepped it up a notch with this formula. It’s more intense which is what she needs. She is beautiful also! She has a perfect body composition, and her fur is beautiful. She doesn’t have stomach upsets, and I’ll never switch again.

Amazing and Healthy for the Pickiest Dog

I cannot express to you just how picky my dog is. And she's a Lab! I've been feeding her Hills Science Joint Prescription food, which is outrageously priced at $99

I cannot express to you just how picky my dog is. And she's a Lab! I've been feeding her Hills Science Joint Prescription food, which is outrageously priced at $99 a bag for the not-clearly-identified amounts of glucosamine and chondroitin elements in the food. This food is almost half the price and has stated amounts of supplements in it. You don't have to bother with a vet's permission to feed your dog non prescription supplements. Anyone with a Lab that most likely has or will have hip and/or joint issues, this is for you! I am still stunned that my picky dog ate it. She LOVES it, like I'm feeding her a treat! I love that it's made in the USA, too. Finally, someone made a dog food practically designed for Labrador Retrievers. So grateful! Highly recommend!!

Great Poops

My dogs have tried a few different foods - Royal Canin Golden Retriever, Purina Pro Plan 30/20 salmon and rice, and Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach large

My dogs have tried a few different foods - Royal Canin Golden Retriever, Purina Pro Plan 30/20 salmon and rice, and Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach large breed salmon and rice. Their stool has gotten better with the adjustments that we’ve made, but was always still somewhat soft. They have also had issues expressing their anal glands naturally and have been itchy due to allergies. They have been on Victor now for two weeks and there is a noticeable difference. Their stool is very firm (hopefully helping express their glands) and they’re not as itchy!! I am very impressed with this food so far. I’m so glad we switched!

She likes it

Got this for my now 7yo aussie who has blown out both knees. She has been on it for a couple of years. She doesn't like it as much as she used to so I don't know

Got this for my now 7yo aussie who has blown out both knees. She has been on it for a couple of years. She doesn't like it as much as she used to so I don't know if the formula has changed. She use to wag her tail and "happy dance" when eating it but now she just eats whenever she's hungry and rarely appears excited for more. I keep getting it though because her mobility is so much better on this than on other foods. I can't think of the last time I've had to give her a pain pill or carry her from pain in her back legs.

Awesome for my naid

I battled for 18 months to find a food that my naid would eat, I tried some really expensive brands, and a couple of cheap ones, all of them she would eat a couple of times and lose interest, as soon as I introduced victor she just loved it. Her coat looks amazingly healthy, everyone asks if she was just groomed, even though she is groomed only once every 3 months, dirt just fall off of her fur and she doesn't smell at all, so no need for unnecessary baths. Her poop is always super healthy, solid and dark. Her energy level is well balanced and she is just a happy girl, as I said it took me a long time to find something she loved and would actually ask for more, she howls and taps her bowl, but victor did it. I have tried the purple, the green and the one that is like this one but grain free, and she also loved it, the only reason I changed to max-5 pro, is because it has the necessary nutrients for an active dog like her and the vet is not a fan of grain free. so 5 paws from us to Victor.

I felt like the dog food I was feeding wasn't doing enough for my Blue Heelers. A friend told me about Victor Dog food and that it was made here in the USA. I wanted something that didn't have alot of by products and fillers. I researched and spoke with a representative from Victor Dog Food. He was very knowledgeable about their products. I told him that one on my heelers had an previous injury and he highly recommended the RealtreeMax-5 Pro. Well all I can say is my girls just love it and very well. I would highly recommend this one for the high energy dogs. They also have several different choices to pick from.

Great Quality!
