Vibeful Probiotic Gastrointestinal Support Powder Digestive Supplement for Cats, 30 count

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I have cats, MANY CATS....most are/were feral and sickly... and I have been struggling to buy probiotics for them. I have always used FORTIFLORA because it is all I knew. Recently I came across the VIBEFUL probiotic for almost half of what I have been paying over the years......my cats love it and I am so excited with the product and the price was like icing on the cake! It was like 2 days and I noticed a definitive difference in their poop. No more pain either! No more stinky linens, no more pain when they try to poop and the consistency of their poop is almost normal. I have sickly cats and this product has made a difference in their lives. I can walk into the "cat room" at my house and while I can't smell the probiotic, they obviously can....they start screaming and standing on their back feet, trying to get to the food dish that has this product in it. My cats did not react to the OTHER product like this. I can not say enough GOOD THINGS about this product and the results that I have experienced with it.

My cat is so picky that she refuses all other probiotics brands, even Purina's, but she somehow LOVES this one. She loves it so much that one time she even opened my cabinets where I stored this, grabbed the box, and dropped it right in front of me. I've since blocked off my cabinets, but she has never even done that with her treats before. She is also on a medically required prescription diet refuses to eat her food...unless I sprinkle this in. I can't speak for the medical benefits (I guess she is pooping quite regularly, not sure if it's because of this probiotic), but I really hope Chewy can make a food topper sprinkle using whatever flavor they added to this probiotic.

My husband and I take a probiotic product every day.  We know that probiotics keep our digestive systems running smoothly, and that they can also boost our immunity and support our overall health.  For some reason, although I am very aware of how good probiotics are for us humans, it had never really occurred to me that they might be good for my two adult cats, as well!  Thank goodness somebody did, so now there's Vibeful, a probiotic digestive supplement for cats.  Made by Chewy, this is a straightforward, easy to serve probiotic powder with four live, active cultures.  It also has prebiotic fiber, which can help prevent hairballs in cats, and it contains dried chicken liver, a flavor that my girls seem to love. This product comes in a box with thirty powder packets, presumably because it is intended to be a month's supply.  But the feeding directions are confusing.  Here's what they say:  "Sprinkle one packet daily on top of your cat's regular food.  This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.  Use only as directed."  So it's a 'daily' product...I get that.  But what do they mean when they say it's intended for intermittent feeding?  I'm not sure, but I am giving it to my cats every day and just trying to observe how it affects their behavior and apparent health, expecting to adjust accordingly.  I should say, though, that I have only been adding this to my cats' food for about four days now, and I started slowly, splitting one packet between the two cats.  I wanted to introduce probiotics at a gentle pace, increasing the amount very gradually to give their systems a chance to get used to it, thereby avoiding any upset stomachs, hopefully.  That seems to have been working, because I have not seen any evidence of nausea or digestive discomfort in my cats.  They seem to like the flavor and I've had no problems getting them to eat it.   I guess time will tell if this product actually improves my girls' digestive health, but it makes sense that it should.  For now, I feel good being more proactive when it comes to meeting their nutritional and probiotic needs, and I appreciate that this stuff is shelf stable and doesn't have to be refrigerated.  But at nearly a dollar a packet, I do think Vibeful is kind of expensive, especially if given every day, and even more so if you have multiple cats.  It would cost me nearly $60 a month...way more than I spend on my own probiotic supplements!  I'm not sure I can afford to feed it as directed, but might give it to my kitties every other day, perhaps.  Of course, that would be in violation of Vibeful's clear  instruction to "use only as directed"...to which I say, "Make it more affordable and I will!" 

I started using Vibeful Probiotic about a month ago, one of my cats started throwing up and was not feeling well, like he had eaten something bad. I contacted a Vet, and he recommended a couple of Probiotic Powders to add to the food. So I immediately ordered Vibeful. My cat had stopped eating for 24 hours. As soon as the Vibeful arrived, I put a small amount on my cat's food, and he ate it up! Later that day, he was back to his loveable self, eating and playing. Since that day, I have put a little in my cat's food and mixed it in. It has made a Huge difference in both of my cats' digestion! This is a must-have product!
