No.

My cats won’t eat the tablet even broken into quarters. Recommendation?

3 out of 4 cats recommend!

Bought this for my long haired cat and while he’s not the biggest fan of the tablets, he has no problem eating them if I break it apart and sprinkle on his food (life hack if you have to do this, break up the pills in a weekly pill box so you can just dump the daily dose on their food and know if you’ve given it to them). It’s caused a SIGNIFICANT decrease in hairballs, thank god, since he refuses to ingest any kind of hairball gel. Now my other three cats are absolutely obsessed with the tablets and will just eat them like a treat. One of my little criminals literally punctured the thick plastic container trying to get them - I now give my three shorthairs one tablet and my long hair 2 tablets.

I bought this product for my cat to help her during hairball season, but it ended up upsetting her health. The first time I tried giving it to her was at the beginning of February. I crushed it into her food. She was fine for the first two days, but on the third day she refused to eat it and didn’t seem well, she looked tired, didn’t want to play, and was just sleeping. So I stopped giving it to her. In March, she vomited a hairball, so I decided to try the product again. I crushed it into her food, and she ate it, but after about 30-45 minutes she vomited and started having diarrhea. She continued vomiting and having diarrhea throughout the night. For the next two days, she was only drinking water. Whenever she tried to eat, she would vomit and the diarrhea would return. I had to switch her to a bland diet and give her a probiotic (S. boulardii + FOS powder) to help her recover.

Since I started using this on my lil boy he's had less upset stomach issue & a whole lot less throwing up. We do have to crush it up & mix it in his soft food so he has no idea it's even there. The bottle does say twice a day but so far we have found that just one tablet has made such a major improvement that we decided to just continue with once a day. I would absolutely recommend this to any one who has a cuddly buddy with hairball issues.

My cat had been coughing for a few days and his vet said to start a hairball med. I wasn’t sure what to try since my cat is super picky and won’t eat any wet or soft treats. He was interested in this tablet form and ate it right away. Less than 6 hours after the first tablet his hairball passed!

I thought I would have to crush it and mix it with his food. He LOVES it and eats it like a treat right out of my hand. He prefers it over canned cat food or any dry food. I thought I would need stitches and the ICU after forcing him to eat it. What a pleasure to give this to my cat.

My cat not only willingly eats this supplement, he ASKS for it! Seriously, if I forget to give him his "tabtab" he will mumble and lead me to his dish until I figure it out that it's not more food but his vitamins that he wants. As soon as he eats it he goes off to bed.

No way a cat can chew this. I had to use scissors to break/crumble a tablet up

It was not chewable or cumulable. when broken into small bits my cat ate around it. This was probably just as good as the hard pieces might have been a choking

I tried to use a pill crusher to turn the tablet into a powder. I did the best I could, as they are fairly big. Put it in my cats wet food and she wouldn’t touch it. I really need to find something that will work to eliminate her hair balls. Can’t afford another emergency vet bill.
