This supplement is formulated as a soft chew.

About how long does it take for these to start working? My cat has been eating them for 2 weeks now and no change. Should I give it more time or buy different product? Thank you. Good thing is that he loves them,he is real picky too.

Packaging said "For dogs only"

I purchased this product along with some others to help my aging cat with mobility. When I looked at the back of the package for directions I immediately noticed

I purchased this product along with some others to help my aging cat with mobility. When I looked at the back of the package for directions I immediately noticed it said for dogs only, even tho the rest of the packaging has cats on it. The treats are even fish shaped so im no sure what happened there. Also, none of my 9 cats would eat them. They sniffed and walked away. I request3d a refund and was given thankfully. I purchased the Pet Honesty brand and they all love it.

Cats won't eat them, treat size too big

Product is as described, shipped quickly and arrived within 1-2 days. We had a lot of hopes for this product since our girls are getting on in age and showing signs. 2

Product is as described, shipped quickly and arrived within 1-2 days. We had a lot of hopes for this product since our girls are getting on in age and showing signs. 2 main problems: 1) Cats won't eat them... they are not picky eaters either. This seems to be a hit-or-miss point with cats and very polarizing. They either love it or hate it. 2) Too big for most cats. Maine coons would find this bite size (my brother has 2), our siamese couldn't fit them into their mouth. I had to break up the treats into 4 bite-size bits. See attached image - glyco flex treats on right, for size comparison: temptations on left and american quarter in middle. The treats are very dense and square, so they're just as wide as they are tall whereas the temptations are very thin. No results to comment on since they ate half a treat on day one, a quarter of a treat on morning of day 2, and not a single bite on evening of day 2. Will continue to try and update review to reflect any changes if they occur.

Got these for my 14yo big boy who is slowing down and having a hard time jumping. He’s notorious for refusing to take any pills and will not eat any food I put the cosequin powder in. Very very picky. So I was skeptical when purchasing these that he would even eat them. But he looooooves them!!!! Even my 4yo loves them. I have to give him half a treat just so he won’t try to steal big boy’s treats. As soon as I get up in the morning they are both yelling for their glyco nummins and yes they know what that crazy word means now! So far they love the taste which is great. Have been giving them these for about 10 days now. Package says it takes 4 to 6 weeks for the full benefits to show. So cannot give feedback on how effective they are.

Booger's Special Treats

I bought these for my 16 year old boy Booger who has arthritis which was slowing him down and making it difficult to jump. He was on the dasaquin for a few months

I bought these for my 16 year old boy Booger who has arthritis which was slowing him down and making it difficult to jump. He was on the dasaquin for a few months and he improved but it made his pancreatitis flare up. So then we were giving him a natural joint supplement treat called sea flex. He didn't like them enough to take every day. I finally was desperate and asked the vet. She recommended this brand and had seen results in dogs (not cats). Booger loves these and gobbles them up fast. I have 2 other cats (brothers age 11) and one likes them but the other doesn't. We are definitely seeing results after a few months. Booger is now getting the zoomies again and has noticibly less issues with jumping.

No luck

I had no luck with these unfortunately. My senior cat, MJ, just did not want to try them once at all. I tried different ways to get her to try it for a few months

I had no luck with these unfortunately. My senior cat, MJ, just did not want to try them once at all. I tried different ways to get her to try it for a few months but no luck. Sometimes she doesn't want to try something new right away but then likes it later after some time passes. No luck this time around. I am giving five stars because there is no way I can judge the item without MJ taking them. Her not wanting to try them doesn't mean they don't work. Based on other reviews, other fellow cats like them just fine and are doing great on them.

Product seems to help, but only one month in :)

My cat is 17 years old so I have been worried about her joints with increasing age. She was a little hesitant jumping places sometimes but now she seems to not mind

My cat is 17 years old so I have been worried about her joints with increasing age. She was a little hesitant jumping places sometimes but now she seems to not mind it as bad. While I don't know exactly how far she will be helped with only one month or treatment so far, she LOVES the treats regardless. She actually will RUN for them. It's adorable! The only thing I would recommend is maybe tearing up the bites for the cat some. It's just kinda large and she had trouble chewing the whole thing at once. It seems like if you didn't at least split it in half they could choke on it. However with splitting it she thinks sometimes she is getting more and gets happy so thats just fine!

This product killed my cat!!!

I started feeding one of my 2 cats GlycoFlex chews on April 16th. By April 26th we were in vet emerg and by May 2nd he was dead. Symptoms appeared to be poisoning

I started feeding one of my 2 cats GlycoFlex chews on April 16th. By April 26th we were in vet emerg and by May 2nd he was dead. Symptoms appeared to be poisoning. Cat had no other health issues before other than occasional hind end joint stiffness. VetriScience denies it was their product that killed him. My cat suffered a painful death 2 weeks after starting these. My other cat, who eats the same cat food but did not eat GlycoFlex, is fine. Amazon’s Food & Safety dept notified me that they’ve launched an investigation into safety concerns of this product. I am devastated that I lost my cat this way. I now live with the guilt of killing him. We did not deserve this. DO NOT EVER USE THIS PRODUCT or purchase anything from this company!!

So far, so good

My 13 year old tubby cat actually eats these. He has arthritis but would not eat the sprinkles, or liquid mix ins, or soft chews. These chews are firm but not quite

My 13 year old tubby cat actually eats these. He has arthritis but would not eat the sprinkles, or liquid mix ins, or soft chews. These chews are firm but not quite crunchy. They are also large, so I break then into 3 pieces and add them to wet food. It has only been a couple weeks, so I can't say if they are helping the achy joints or not. But at least he is eating them, so I remain hopeful. I'll try to remember to update this if he starts doing cartwheels, because his joints feel better.

My older Siamese Lynx was slowing down and not playing much. My husband decided to try these (first try on something for her) and he sure made a good choice! She gets one of these treats (broken in 2) every night after dinner. Afterwards, she is playing & running around with her 2 year old adopted sister and even loosing traction on the floor! Oh, and by the way she comes to us and sits on the floor near us "asking" for her treat! Highly recommend this product.
