My cat is stubborn and picky. He wouldn’t even look at the l lysine treats I got for him so I bought the gel and figured it was worth a try because he grooms himself

My cat is stubborn and picky. He wouldn’t even look at the l lysine treats I got for him so I bought the gel and figured it was worth a try because he grooms himself a lot so I started putting the gel on him and he licks it off. He still hates it but at least he’s getting his medicine. His eyes and nose seem to be better and he’s stopped sneezing too! Robert would rate this product 0/10 on the taste scale, he thinks it could be improved. I, on the other hand, like that it makes him feel better.

Amazing

The vet prescribed this as a supplement when my cat had an upper respiratory infection. It will NOT treat an infection. I use this if they start sneezing or watery

The vet prescribed this as a supplement when my cat had an upper respiratory infection. It will NOT treat an infection. I use this if they start sneezing or watery eyes. It is just a supplement but really seems to help. 3-5 days usually. I keep a tube on hand.

This was purchased as Waltar my Manx was born with upper respiratory infection that affected his eyes. They have a discharge on occassion. Or vet recommended L-Lysine

This was purchased as Waltar my Manx was born with upper respiratory infection that affected his eyes. They have a discharge on occassion. Or vet recommended L-Lysine and after trying many brands this is the one Waltar loves. It is is spoonful of candy! We have stopped it on occasion and always regret it as his eyes run.

So my one cat has had the virus that has affected his respiratory system since birrh. My vet has told me he would need to be on lysine for life to help prevent flareups. He used to eat the treats..then he started refusinf aftwr a few years. i tried different brands. Nope. He has had a flareup for awhile. Sneezeing, snotty. I didnt know the gel was available till recently. This cat eats anything except for this. However i mix it in his wet food in the morning and he eats it right up. Hes only been taking it like 5 days but it has helped him so quick, i feel bad i didnt find this sooner.

It Really Works!

My 17 year old calico girl was diagnosed with Feline Herpes virus or Feline Rhinotracheitis virus (FHV/FVR) years ago. Last year my vet recommended L-Lysine when I asked if there was anything we could do about her little scabby nostrils. Since I have been using the Viralys regularly, no more scabs!! I’m so convinced it works, I started taking an L-Lysine supplement to boost my immune system as well. A plus with buying it from Chewy is it is $10 cheaper. I love my vet but the markup is too high to buy it from them again. My only “issue” is Why maple flavor for a CAT? I think chicken flavor would be more appropriate but it’s definitely not a show stopper, and I don’t believe it tastes horrible to her, just not very cat natural. My girl won’t lick it up willingly so I use a syringe to deliver it, right after I give her her methimazole (my thought is it helps wash the teeny pill down). I recommend! (Now if I could only find something to put some weight back on her!)

AMAZING product!!

My poor kitty Sheldon has allergies and conjunctivitis. His eyes are almost always watering and getting irritated. He then scratches them and causes additional irritation on his eyes and skin around his eyes to the point of swelling, redness, hairloss, scabs, and even ulcers on his eye. It can get BAD and I never knew what to do to help him. I got this because I was desperate to find something that would help him long term. I went out on a limb and just ordered this and BOY am I glad I did!!! I am AMAZED!!! We have been using it a little over a month and he looks BRAND NEW! His eyes still get watery from time to time but I've noticed a HUGE difference and I can tell he feels so much better. He also loves the taste and is always begging for his food! THANK YOU CHEWY!!

My vet had recommended L-lysine for one of my cats who had chronic weepy eyes. I had tried the 500 mg capsules on being the powder into his food but he would have nothing to do with it then I tried the L-lysine treats that worked for three days he absolutely love them and then he wanted nothing more to do with them. I saw this gel and figured I would give it a try although I was not sure whether he would like the maple syrup flavor turns out he absolutely loves it I can put some on his paw he will lick it right off or I can squeeze the tube and he will eat it right from the tube plus his eyes are getting a lot better the other cats don't care for it but since he is the one that needs it I am just happy that he is taking his medicine so easily I wish all medicines were this easy to give to cats!

This gel is the best. Was using the crunches which my cat wouldn't eat. They are very hard. I just squirt a little in his bowl with a bit of Delectables on top, which he loves before his breakfast and dinner. Really has made a huge difference with his weeping eyes. I can tell he's a lot more comfortable now.
