We have a med/long-haired cat that has problems with hairballs. We have tried so many different products, and this is the only one that helps. If we are consistent about giving this to her (daily), she only produces a hairball every 1-2 weeks, as opposed to every few days. Unfortunately, she won't take the gel alone--we need to mix it into a churu. But I'm glad we have found something to help her out.

My cat (Bob) is part Maine Coon so has that long fur. Unfortunately, two years in a row, he's needed major surgery to remove blocked hairballs. Not only is it extremely costly, but it's traumatizing for him. My Vet recommended I try this. We have gotten thru a year thankfully with no issues. He gets it 3 times a week now. He's my buddy, I'll do whatever is best for him. Thankfully this seems to help!

My cat Bear is a medium haired orange floof and he has really fine hair. He hates being brushed but thankfully his floof doesn’t mat or get tangled however he throws up the biggest hairballs I’ve ever seen. Our vet suggested we try this stuff and I was skeptical because although he is food motivated, I didn’t know if he’d like it and he has white legs so I didn’t want to smear red goo on them. Well I worried for no reason because he goes CRAZY for this stuff. He knows where it’s kept and when he sees me go over to it, he starts making these weirdo noises and actually meows at it and can barely sit still while I put it on my fingers and then he licks it off within seconds. He’s a vocal cat anyway but these are some crazy sounds. Not only does he LOVE this stuff, it actually works and he went from throwing up hairballs practically everyday to once a month if that. After the initial week of giving it to him everyday, he only needs 1-2 doses per week for upkeep so it’s very affordable. I definitely recommend however I will say I have 2 other cats who do not share Bear’s enthusiasm for this product but they are pickier by nature. Luckily, this product has two sizes so at least you won’t go broke giving it a try. :)

I just put a little on a tongue depressor stick (see the picture) and cat licks it off the stick. I do this once every 3 days (Per vet suggestion) and it really help hairballs to pass through digestive system rather than cat trying to vomit it out.

Wow! I'm so glad I tried this product. I have multiple tubes of others that she would not eat. She gobbles up the tuna flavor of this product. This is an enormous stress buster for me. No more hairballs during shedding season in my long hair cat and no more constipation!!!! If you give too much your cat could get diarrhea, so start low. Keep an eye on the litter box you'll know if you're giving too much if stools become too loose or sticky. I give my 11 lb long-haired cat one and a half inch ribbon on my finger, for the first dose, once a day in between meals. For three or four days after that she gets a 3/4-in ribbon once a day in between meals, while shedding. If she develops loose stools I stop for a couple of days.

My cat has trouble getting hairballs up, he'd cough until he made himself puke. So him being a compulsive cleaner didn't help the situation. I bought this medicine on a suggestion from Chewy.com vet help. My kitty didn't like the tuna flavor, and refused to eat it. My boy is a picky one. I had to mix it in with his wet food to hide it. He hasn't had trouble since. I'd keep buying this stuff.

Haven’t tried tuna flavor yet, but I have definitely tried the brown one or maple flavored and it works for hairballs. They don’t like it, so I keep in refrigerator and then squirt out about 3/4 of an inch and mash it into their front paws and then they have to lick it off. I do this 3 to 4 days in a row about once a month.Vet also said you can give 1/8 teaspoon of Miralax in their food every day. Plus, it’s also good too. Give them a tinkle tonic to keep urinary blockages away or I sometimes rub apple cider vinegar into my cats fur so they lick it off and that’s good for their urinary track also.

My vet suggested trying this for Oliver , who has had severe digestive problems. Oliver and my other 2 cats love this. I give it to them 1 to 2 times everyday. They line up for it! It definitely seems to be helping Oliver with his abdominal pain. Less crying out, less throwing up and less discomfort while pooping. I highly recommend this product for all cat owners. And Chewy had the best price after checking several other sellers.

Early June and early July, my 8-year old boy was experiencing some digestive issues. He'd run around from box to box, crying and trying to poop but nada. So before going to the vet, I found this productive and it wasn't expensive and figured it'd be easy to add to his feeding routine. I also now give him pumpkin puree plus this tuna flavored hairball gel, thinking both would alleviate future issues. Now, this cat will literally eat anything, I mean ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THAT RESEMBLES FOOD...sadly, he HATES this stuff. (Side note: at least my other cats love it.) I have to be really sneaky and mix it with other food so he'll eat it. Sigh. I'm still waiting to see if this stuff helps...since he's had issues at the beginning of this month and last month, so hoping come August and thereafter, he's well lubed up internally between this gel and pumpkin puree and no more issues...
