I haven't had my dog (Smooth coat Collie) on this product long enough to see the full benefits. I had her on a pain pill prescribed by the vet and it definitely helped, but I didn't want to leave her on them. My dog is now strictly on this joint supplement with no pain meds for a few days. She is way less hesitant to go upstairs in the evening. She used to hide in the other room, but now she's at the steps ready to go up. She also would cry and be hesitant to go down the stairs in the morning. She happily ran down them this morning on her own. She was also playing with our other dog last night, which she hasn't been doing. I can't wait to see the full benefits if it's already worked this well so quickly. I figured it would take a month or more, not a week or more. I'm happy it's working this well so quickly.

On the advice of my vet I switched out cosequin for this product and it made a noticeable difference for my last dog, who had arthritis. She was a 50 lb heeler/shep mix who passed away at 14 years and two months. I also had her on Myos and fish oil and Adequan, and even so, Flexadrin made a difference in how she walked. I now have a 5 year old Lab and decided to start her on it now - she’s not dealing with any arthritis, but I figure this can’t hurt.

After 14 months on this product I finally called them because I was concerned their marketing is deceptive. They state there is 40mg of UC2 collagen but if you read the back of the package it says onky 10mg of Undenatured UC2. That is what is needed to help rebuild the cartilage and what was tested in all the studies!! So our dogs are NOT getting the dose they need as seen in other products which is 40mg. i’ve been sitting here spending all this money and my dog has not seen any benefit from this and now I know why because there’s barely any underneath your collagen in this product!

After trying multiple other treatments and not wanting to keep my dogs on prescription pain meds, my vet recommended Flexadin. It's done wonders for my 13-year-old girl with severe arthritis, as well as my younger boy who has bad hip issues, serious arthritis, and who also suffered a significant femur break prior to my adopting him. Shelter life was hard on him but he and my oldest girl have both made incredible recoveries from previous limps. I give them each a chew with their breakfast every morning and it helps them get through the day without the hindrance of aches. Highly recommend. My dogs like the taste despite their normal disdain for anything resembling medicine. :)

These came recommended from my vet and I love them. They are on the bigger side, about the size of 3 Temptation treats, but they are soft enough for him to chew without breaking it up. I was hesitant at first with the cost because he's very selective with his flavors, but even he loves them. He can't wait to get them in the morning. I'm giving these 4/5 stars due to it being too early to notice any real improvement with his movements. Although, my husband has noticed an uptick in activeness and mobility.

I broke the chew into three pieces, and put in his food bowl and HE ATE THEM! Second day he ate them AGAIN! And I swear I already see a difference in his mobility! and I can tell he feels better.
