Minties Medium Mint Flavored Dental Treats for Dogs, 25-50 lbs, 48-oz, 60 count

I started giving our two babies MINTIES when I discovered they were about $5 bucks cheaper than Greenies at our local store. The bonus was our dogs seemed to enjoy them more, which was great! They each get a MINTIE each night after dinner to clean their teeth and if my husband doesn't go get their MINTIES fast enough to suit them, they will soon be sitting at the base of the rolling rack, looking at the top rack, willing the bag of MINTIES to fall down to the floor. It is absolutely hilarious. If that doesn't work (as we do not have many earthquakes in Florida to make the MINTIES tumble to the floor), they will come up to my husband and give him "THE STARE" as well as "THE BUMP" with their nose to his hand as if to say, "Hey Dad, did you forget something?" He will get up from the couch, limp over to where the MINTIES are kept, make them do some silly trick and they are REWARDED. Life is GOOD AGAIN. Thank God for MINTIES and CHEWY the best on-line pet store & pharmacy their is!

PLEASE DO NOT BUY!! After my Australian shepherd ate one of these, she became extremely ill. She started throwing up everything see ate and drank, had dark reddish diarrhea, and became lethargic. She refused to eat for 3 days, and only started getting better on day 4. We took her to the vet, and they told us to never give her a Mintie again as it’s caused many problems within pets. These treats are hard as a rock, creating the risk of splintering, blockages, or GI issues. Minties might be cheaper than Greenies, but that won’t matter when the vet bill is $900+

Blue, my pittie, is an unrepentant garbage/grass/poop eater, and doesn't have the best teeth, no matter how much I brush them. The biggest offense is that her breath is also terrible without constant intervention. On the suggestion of a trainer friend, I picked up a bag of these during a recent sale, and I give her one a day, and while her teeth still aren't perfect (and she still hates me brushing them), her breath is 1000% better. Does it smell great? No, but is it offensive? Very much no. I also like that these are a lot cheaper than the more popular brand I see recommended and these take longer to chew up and eat (and I think are just more efficacious).

Apollo loves loves these things. We've been buying these since we got him. He spins in circles after getting one. He'll take Chloe's if she's not looking. If we get busy he quickly reminds us that it's toothbrush time. Chloe likes 'em she's just not as excited about 'em as Apollo. We've even got my mom's dog hooked on them. They have kept thier teeth clean between brushings. Great product!
