How close is this to Actistatin (no longer available). Switched to Cosequin, but running into fur issues with my 3yr old Lab

I have been giving these to my 75 lb Shepard mix he is doing so much better with his arthritis on these . We found out our chihuahua now has arthritis as well . She did not like at first . I break a small pc off of the shepards one and give to her . She was having a hard time walking on days and now she runs around , with no down days . Both dogs seem much better since being on these . I highly recommend them . I’m not sure about the size difference in them so the Shepard a full one every day and the chihuahua gets a small pc daily ,one pc for her lasts 4 days broken up into small pieces.

You say the ingredients are sourced from the United States but got my package today and it clearly says using ingredients from around the globe so that’s obviously not only the US so which is it ?

There would not be a way to make these chews softer, however due to the soft texture, they can be broken into smaller bite size pieces if needed.

It’s gotta be a really really good product for me to actually go search it out and write a review. My dog was hesitating to jump off the couch in the morning, jump on the bed at night, getting up from the floor. He loves to run and jump and get his ball. It was getting to the point where I didn’t want to make him jump because I knew it was doing more damage to his joints. But that’s HIS LIFE!!! He loves fetching ball and jumping up high to grab it out of the air. Maybe 10 days after starting this medicine i noticed a HUGE difference. It may have helped even earlier than that. But shame on me for not watching him every day to look for the changes. Definitely recommend.

I've contacted Chewy's customer service several times in the past and have always had a good experience. But this most recent time is like no other. I informed the customer service rep that my dog had passed away and I needed to cancel my auto ship. The woman I spoke with was very kind and we had a good conversation. She made me feel good even though it was a sad day. Several days later, much to my surprise, I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Chewy for the passing of my dog. How thoughtful!

My 13 year old border collie was suffering from arthritis. I actually thought this was the end of her road. She did not want to get up very often and she stay down or slept all day. She would not jump in the car any longer. She would not jump up on me and give me a hug. And my friend From Church named Donna had brought over about six of the chews. I actually saw that a different the next day and by the second day it was amazing. She was jumping up playing again when we go for a walk she was prancing. I’m so thankful for my friend Donna to bring these chees to my attention. It’s been about two weeks now and she’s fine. She jumps up on her favorite chair and sleeps. She jumps into the backseat of the car and out of the car. Before she was stumbling because she hurt so bad and her joints were just weak, I guess. She does not anymore she does not walk funny. She is a whole new dog. She is back to the way she was before she started going downhill. I am so happy for her and I can tell she’s happy too!

Our Corso is our baby! We have had her since she was 5 weeks old. We are in constant contact with her breeder & hate to report all her relatives have passed. We aren’t surprised knowing their lifespan. She has already outlived the “normal” for the average Corso. We’ve definitely been blessed with her and know our time is coming, but it’s products like these that have definitely made a difference for our Sophie. We’ve been using them faithfully for years & will always recommend!!

We gave our past two dogs actual glucosamine pills because our vet suggested it. Our latest dog doesn't like the taste of most medications, so we either have to mix them with things she loves or use something like these fabulous Hip & Joint treats. These treats are just as easy as giving a pill, but for a picky dog, even easier because the good stuff: Glucosamine which supports healthy joints and mobility; Omegas (fish oil) helps lubricate joints; and MSM which maintains healthy muscles are all packed into these soft chewy treats with a tasty chicken flavor. Our dog loves them and takes them daily without any fuss. She will even remind me, if it gets to be the time of day I normally give them to her and I haven't done it yet. If you want something that's good for your dog's muscles and joints that they will enjoy taking and that is recommended by Veterinarians, I highly recommend these Vet - IQ Hip and Joint treats.

I have noticed improvement upon using this supplement. Both my Lab and Great Dane were getting older and not moving quite as well. My vet gave me some prescription supplements, but they didn't work at all. Then I tried these supplements, and I did actually notice improvement right away. Also, my dogs like the taste of them I guess because they didn't have any problem eating them (sometimes with peanut butter :-)

This is a wonderful supplement and it made a huge difference in my 14 year old border collie mix. He takes Galiprant and gabapentin for his arthritis already, and my friend who has a dog about the same age recommended this supplement. After a week of taking these he was walking ahead of me instead of me trying to encourage him to walk next to me. I think they are so great I actually thought about taking them myself ( it specifically says NOT for human consumption). Try these if you have an old dog because you won’t be disappointed!
