This product can be given before and during an event. Ideally, give it 30 minutes prior to the event. From studies we have seen calming effects ranging from 10 – 30 minutes.

Great packaging, easy to understand and provide dose in a single chew that our dog thinks is a treat. Fast acting/long lasting! Has truly helped with our rescue pup's anxiety. It has a consistentcy similar to a soft Greenees pill pocket. Unlike other products we have tried, this product fellows our dog out, without knocking him out to sleep. We have been able to keep him happy and yet still engaged and active. Highly recommend!

9 month old extremely hyper-spastic puppy that needs many more hours of hard running exercise than this working schooling family can offer him. So when the day is late & we’re trying to wind him down for bedtime, these have been a good option to help calm him a bit so that he is more manageable & cooperative. It does cause him sleepiness, it does not make him “druggy” behaving. It simply calms him a little. I have tried a few other calming treats & none of those worked to do anything other than make him happy to have a treat before he’s off terrorizing the entire household again.

The calming effect

Navi and Nikki after about 30 to 45 minutes start getting tired and will lay down for a while. Nikki goes to sleep and he is 16 years old. Navi just settles down

These worked for my puppy 6-9 months old

I spoke with my vet, read the ingredients and she said these are the healthiest ingredients in calming treats for dogs she had heard of so far; and, they worked

I feel like I can see a difference in my puppy's demeanor when I have to leave and while I'm gone (he definitely has separation anxiety).

Did not work.

My pup loved the taste but they did nothing to help her with her stress and it pains my heart. Wish I could find something to help her.

Decent substitute for the days you don't need to use medication.

I have a special medication for my German Shepherd dog that helps with anxiety for things like Fireworks, before a visit to the vet, groomer, or claw trimming. Since

I have a special medication for my German Shepherd dog that helps with anxiety for things like Fireworks, before a visit to the vet, groomer, or claw trimming. Since I use the medication sparingly, for bigger needs, i use this for when I need to leave her with the sitter for an extended period of time, during thunderstorms, short errands when I have to leave her alone, an active house with guests, just to take the edge off. From what i've seen while I am at home, It doesn't make her sleep, it just mellows her out a little. Helps her be more approachable with new guests, and less whiney about thunderstorms. It's not super strong, but it takes the edge off.

Purchased these for my 2.5-year-old (male) golden retriever for when we are at someone else’s house. I love his energy, but sometimes it’s a lot for others so I wanted to see if these could bring them down in a couple notches. I’ve only tried them three times and I didn’t notice a difference, but they were all different scenarios so hard to compare apples to doggy downers! Gave three stars because he seems to like them so taste wise I would say yes and they didn’t put him in a coma so that is alsogood
