About a year and a half ago, I was barely able to walk one mile and it would take us at least 45 minutes. I'm a shepherd mix, about 65-70 pounds and was approximately 10 years old. I was taking Glucosamine-Chondroitin chews for the previous two years. We went to my vet and he recommended a competitor brand with something called UC-II. We tried those, but they were pretty expensive. My mom went online and found VetIQ Advanced Hip and Joint with the same amount of UC-II AND it was less expensive. It took about 6 - 8 months, but now there are more good days than bad. I can't jump in the car anymore, but I can still climb up on the couch and my mom's bed. And a few times a week, we can do two miles in less than one hour. We highly recommend this product.

Her right shoulder was badly affected and she was lame. Antifungals almost killed her as they were destroying her intestines. After research and lots of natural products, along with VETIQ Advanced Hip and Joint Chews she still runs (although not as fast) after rabbits. Our WOW-WOW ELLIE, as our 22 month old granddaughter calls her, will be 14 YEARS OLD NEXT MAY 2026. We give her one or two Chews everyday and will continue as long as we are blessed to have her. She is right at the border weight for 2 and 4 chews, so I gave her four for this storm that included tornadoes in the area that are rare here. We only needed “candles” and downloaded music, both that will stay on no matter what, to get through the storm. Years ago, started our other dogs on the original formula of these when they were seniors. What a difference it made for them, you could actually see how it helped ease their movements and they acted younger, less stiffness, helped reduce the signs of aging. All our dogs since then have started, as soon as we adopted them from rescue, at whatever age they were. Really helps the aging process. Nothing can stop it, but it helps slow it down and ease them through it. We now use this advanced formula since it became available. Starting them before there's a problem, you don't "see" the difference but helps delay and lessen aging issues. Definitely a part of their daily diet. Vet IQ works great, had the same active ingredients as the brand from the vet but much more affordable, especially when you have multiple dogs.
