Tommy finally received a steroid shot. He has been so itchy for so long. All the creams and sprayed I have tried have had a positive affect and helped get rid of the scabs on his skin but did not cure the itch. The products did calm the him and his fur became fluffy and soft but itch would not stop. The shot helped dramatically. It did not cure the problem but it helped. Tommy is a big 19 pound cat.

My daschund mix starts her paw chewing in early September as her seasonal itchy allergies startup. She will chew her feet raw until a hard frost late October when her allergy subsides. However if I don't use something on her to reduce or stop the foot itching she will chew her feet raw. The problem is I tried different shampoos, different lotions, sprays but while they may eventually help if they don't stop that itching those feet will get chewed daily with no relief. This peoduct has the healing ingredients but it also has lidocaine which stops that itching! I do the nightly foot soaks in providone iodine too but even those don't stop the itching, therefore the chewing continues if I don't also use this spray with lidocaine. It contains hydrocortisone and a fungal medication too for healing. But the lidocaine controls/deadens the itching better than anything. Don't let your dog lick this! After it's dried the irching is gone and my dog gets relief she turnsher attention to things other than chewing her poor feet! I use it for as long as her allergy is active. Her feet are actually healing well by the time we get that frost and the need for medication subsides. I also give her a generic Claritin twice a day which helps with generalized itching.

I'm so happy I found this medicated spray. My pup was breaking out in scabs up and down his spine. He was itching a lot and his back was bright red all the time
I'm so happy I found this medicated spray. My pup was breaking out in scabs up and down his spine. He was itching a lot and his back was bright red all the time. We tried so many things and had so much advice that all failed. Even the Vet was baffled and prescribed antibiotics, which also did not work. I kept looking for solutions and found this on the Chewy website. I am completely sold!!!!! After only 2 treatments my furbaby was comfortable and happy again. No more itching and the hot spots were gone. His skin lost the redness. I will swear by this but in my search I realize not everything works on every dog. But this is definitely worth a try, Tito and I are glad we did.

Anyways this spray has healed these wounds in 2 weeks time. I'm spraying 4 squirts onto a make up cotton round and holding in place above his eye. He hasn't licked the med so I can't speak on that . However this cat was found with these injuries 4 yrs ago and in this cycle of intense itching in the healing stage he would get the cone off and rip the scab off. This spray has helped so much that he is staying in place and almost asking for it nightly. So very greatful...the stuff the vets prescribed didn't work this well 💕

If you follow the directions of a product it will work. We have a 55 pound dalmatian mix, n he has seasonal allergies. Thank you to my father-in-law who recommend Chewy to us. This product save our Brady Boy's skin, n ears. It was so bad that he would rub his butt on our carpet and grass, got to the point were we couldn't even touch his ears, because they itched so bad. Our Vet medication didn't help these problems. This product did, n also stopped him from chewing his paws, were it got to the point were he would cry from chewing on them so hard. Since we use this product about a week now, he has stopped chewing on his paws, and it stopped the itching from his ears. He sleep much better now, and we do too. I recommend to use this product with their shampoo, together they work great.

I came across this product on Chewy, and decided it was worth a try! I received it very quickly and applied it immediately 2x a day! I started to see results within a day or two! The redness went away, and the itching stopped! With the help of this product and the "Cone of Shame" his hotspot was on the path to healing. My vet was very impressed of how much it has healed by the time my GSD was seen. Highly recommend this product for hotspots!

My dog Becket is on Prednisone and Benadryl now for his summer allergy; however, before I could take him to the vet, I ordered this. I ordered it alone on a early Friday morning and it was delivered on a Saturday. I love Chewy.com and their CSR's! The one who helped me with this order knew I was extremely worried. As soon as I sprayed Becket, it began relieving his tummy but he had chewed a bad place underneath his right armpit. This has Allantoin in it to help heal the wound. He's not one to sit still and I had him flipped over on his back. He was quiet while I sprayed it all over his infected areas that I could find. He is still itching but not as bad. Now I have this on hand for the bad flareups. Thanks again, Chewy.com

I got this because during my hospital stay my cat Flower (who has major separation anxiety) scratched her neck until she caused a wound. She doesn’t like to be separated, though she was being fed and cared for. I ordered this when I got home, and it soothed the need for her to continue scratching and allowed her to scab and heal. I also covered the wound lightly. It’s almost completely healed now, and growing the fur back. It also works well to clean her ears as she has always gotten itchy buildup in her ears. My vet was having me clean them with a dry q-tip which she hates. A bit of this sprayed on a cloth helps sooth her ears and she scratches much less.

I had bought John Paul sensitive skin shampoo and it actually made it worse and flared up, irritated area expand even more. I purchased Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Hot Spot & Itch Relief Spray and Shampoo and 3 way ointment from chewy, it arrived within two days without extra expedite cost. By 3rd day using the products his skin has calm down and less red. Right now I have used it a for 1 week, his skin looks healthy again, red irritation spots have gone away. Really recommend these 3 products, especially the spray.
