I always have bought this exact bag of food for my pigeons, but this time it came all powdery and had a nasty smell. On further inspection I noticed lots of the seeds had holes and little bugs crawling in it. I am so disappointed as this has never happened and this food is not cheap at all :(

Have been using versele laga for several years and watching the quality goes downhill is just sad. Countless times of getting bags full of weevils and seeds were almost eaten to dust. No weevil this time but it's the moldy looking wheat grains... Chewy has been great in dealing with any issues I had but Versele Laga needs to listen to feedbacks and improve themselves... I'm stil buying because I can't find other alternatives.

This is supposed to be a good quality seed mix, but after a few months of having it, it is absolutely infested with weevils. I doubt the remaining seed has much nutritional value left since the weevils were clearly in there eating from the start. It's been kept in an airtight container since I got it. I'm so grossed out and won't be buying this again!

WOW!! Love the feed! The variety of the grains, along with the cleanliness is remarkable. I have been searching for pigeon grains for some time now, and I never expected to find such a high quality product. And the best part is--delivered right to my door! I couldn't ask for more. The quality is unsurpassed in my book! I told my northern friend about it, and he too ordered some from your co,. My only negative comment, is that, one 50lb bag had a good sized hole towards the top of the bag, which I had to tape, as it was leaking grains. And what's strange, is that in my friends order, he had the same hole in one bag as well. He told me he had lost some grains in the box, and didn't mention that in his review. I wanted to let someone there know this, to have it checked out to see what happened. It's very important to get feed that is unopened and free of holes, especially for grains, as they leak so quickly . Other than that, my experience with Chewy is has been wonderful. Thanks for being there for me, and supplying what I need! Larry-Jackson Michigan.

The bags came WITHOUT RIPS. They survived the delivery guys. The seed smell NOT rancid but I do smell the oil. The birds are eating it. I mix it 1/3 with my Browns

The bags came WITHOUT RIPS. They survived the delivery guys. The seed smell NOT rancid but I do smell the oil. The birds are eating it. I mix it 1/3 with my Browns Feed, Barley, and Wildbird seed. Yes 1/3 with 4 types. The birds always leave some food behind and it goes out into the Wildbird feeder. Since adding Versa Laga the leftovers are the same.

There’s a difference between a feral and domesticated pet pigeon. This feed is not ideal for feeding feral pigeons as they cannot make out the difference between

There’s a difference between a feral and domesticated pet pigeon. This feed is not ideal for feeding feral pigeons as they cannot make out the difference between lentils and pebble stones—causing them to avoid eating this feed at all. The pigeons I feed did just that, and even if some of them DID eat, they only ate a few pieces because they rolled out of the ledge I had put the feeds on and this causes lots of trouble (because I live in a state where it’s prohibited to feed pigeons). For goodness sake, please make ‘feral friendly’ products, by simply cracking whole legumes so they lay smoothly and look edible to these feral animals. I have to unfortunately buy another batch of feed, which is a waste of money
