So within the first 24 hours the fleas on them were immediately dead. But if you've got a flea cycle going it doesn't seem to work as well as it does within the first week. I'm hoping the next couple of rounds kill them all off. I have one cat who's neck was too tore up from his allergic reaction to the flea bites so I had to give him capstar. But even his neck seems to be healing so I do believe we have far less than what we did starting out with using frontline.

Have been struggling with fleas since September on my indoor only cats after bringing in some fosters who had fleas. This product has worked better than Frontline, Advantage and Revolution + for me. Still finding fleas when I flea comb my cats, but the product is working better than Advantage and Frontline were. This needs to be used in combination with daily vacuuming and cleaning beds and cat trees, using any flea product on its own just doesn't work anymore. I purchased another 6 month supply of Vectra based on my first month's experience.

I've noticed that my gurls scratch significantly, noticeably less! Unfortunately, it is very difficult to flea comb my gurls, and a bath left me with too many scratches!!! So, my only option at this time is topical medications, and I give Vectra a B+.

I used Vectra on both of my cats on 11/9, and within 48-72 hours they became noticeably ill. One of my cats began vomiting and hid under the bed for almost two days

I used Vectra on both of my cats on 11/9, and within 48-72 hours they became noticeably ill. One of my cats began vomiting and hid under the bed for almost two days. The other cat had projectile vomiting a couple of days later. These reactions started shortly after applying the product and nothing else in their routine changed. I specifically chose Vectra over Frontline or Advantage because I didn’t see any reviews mentioning cats getting sick. I’ve always been nervous about topicals and prefer the holistic route when possible. On top of that, the treatment didn’t work. I was still finding multiple live fleas on my female cat after application. I wouldn’t recommend this product.
