TropiClean OxyMed Medicated Anti-Itch Dog Shampoo, 20-fl oz bottle

If your fur baby is struggling with allergies, hot spots, and you’re looking for a great shampoo for overall health this is a great buy for a great price. We have 2 boxers Ella is 6 years old, and Luka is 1. Ella has the absolute softest fur out of every boxer we’ve ever had, and Luka’s is shorter but stlll soft and has a nice shine to it. They feel very velvety, clean, and it really helps with their itching. A lot of times vet recommends cytopoint, allergy shots, medications that don’t get to the root cause, apoquel, and ultimately it just takes your money and makes you lose hope because your babies suffer and nothing works no matter how much you spend. It starts with diet, ingredients, adding salmon oil, collagen oil especially after age 2 as dogs lose collagen and that can cause allergy like symptoms as well. I am no expert this is simply my own research and what holistic vets have recommended along with this shampoo who LeBark in Mayville recommended to us and it truly has made such a difference to the point we have people take pictures of our dogs in public gleaming about how their coat is so clean, neat, and silky soft.

We have a white pitbull who has the common pittie skin ailments: itchiness, hotspots, rashes etc. We tried a few different shampoos from both this (great) brand and other brands and this has by far worked the best in stopping the itching. She’s no longer constantly chewing on her paws and legs or itching, and her belly rashes have gone away too. I do recommend using this in conjunction with their Oatmeal Medicated Rinse and following the directions exactly. I didn’t think my shorthaired dog needed a conditioner, but these two products combined have really worked and left her coat super silky. They don’t smell as nice as Tropiclean’s other products while you’re using them, but once her coat was dry she just smelled nice and fresh and clean so if you don’t like the smell when applying, don’t worry, it doesn’t stick.

I tried this yesterday because my maltipoo itches and smells all the time. I couldn't believe the amazing suds and how little I needed, especially with an additional 5 cats to bathe! My maltipoo finally didn't have a bad odor, with other shampoos he still didn't smell clean.

I have one TFT that tends to itch and scratch no matter what. I have changed his food, which has helped. But, I ordered the Tropiclean Oxi Med Oatmeal Shampoo and found that it helped after the first bath. It has a really good smell, lathered well, and left my three TFT's looking great. I was using a baby wash on my dogs because of their sensitive skin, but will be using the Tripiclean product from now on. My dogs look great and :) NO scratching.
