We just emptied out a cabinet filled with so many "highly recommended" shampoos for dogs. I plan to donate them to a local shelter. TropiClean Medicated Oatmeal and Tea Tree dog shampoo is all that our fur-baby needs to keep her gorgeous hair clean and shiny. Her hair is long and blonde. She is a rescue and DNA testing said she is part Shih Tzu, part Lhasa, part Yorkie with a little Chi thrown in the mix. Most shampoos lathered okay but after rinsing her hair was stiff. Using a rinse helped but left her hair flat and limp. TropiClean always leaves her with full gorgeous soft shiny hair. Everyone says she is so beautiful but I know this shampoo is the reason. We will never switch shampoos again! This one is the BEST for our little princess!

I'm a first time dog owner. My Golden Retriever is 5 years old. I've been fumbling around from dog shampoo to dog shampoo and gave this one a try. I absolutely love it and so does the pup. A comparison to other shampoos: The wet dog smell is not present...she smells great right away after her bath. She has extremely sensitive skin, which most Goldens do. After using this shampoo, she does not do all of the licking and scratching that I've seen her do after bathing her with a lot of other shampoos that claim to "soothe itchy skin." I've also noticed that she seems to stay a little fresher a little longer when I use this product. Yes, I highly recommend this product.

I have been using this shampoo on my dogs for several years now and couldn't be happier with the results. It is neither too thick nor too runny. It lathers up nicely and rinses out easily. It leaves my dog's (currently, just one) coat clean and great smelling. Best of all, it gave about four days relief to my dog, Sheba, who has seasonal itching. Four days doesn't sound like much but it is four days more relief than anything else we tried brought her ! And it is gentle enough to use frequently, so I don't have worry about worsening the situation. We have tried changing her food, changing the protein source (all with top-quality foods), oatmeal baths, melatonin, prednisone, EFAs...all to no avail. This does the trick if only for four to five days per bath. Love this stuff !!

When bathing this dog I usually have to use Dawn dish liquid a few times to break through the grease before using the dog shampoo. I groomed him 2 weeks ago and he was flaky the next day. The flakes were all over. Exactly 2 weeks later I used this product ONCE (no Dawn needed!) and he smells good and is very soft and fluffy and there are honestly no flakes to be seen.
