Is this feed going to make horses hot?

“Hot” behavior in horses can come from a few factors, but in the diet it is from starch and sugar. The Resolve is considered a low NSC(sugar+starch) full concentrate and would be appropriate for horses with dietary sensitivities to NSC.

is this a good complete feed for a senior with bad teeth? hard to keep weight on. does it have probiotics?

This feed is a high fat, lower NSC pellet with higher antioxidant fortification. It is formulated for all classes of mature horses. The feed contains prebiotics and probiotics.

This is the first feed I have tried that has actually brought about positive results. After only feeding it for two weeks I can already tell a difference. I started

This is the first feed I have tried that has actually brought about positive results. After only feeding it for two weeks I can already tell a difference. I started with 1 lb for a week and then gradually added more, now I am feeding my guy 5 lbs a day. I add the Tribute 12 in 1 minerals. My guy has actually filled out a little and his faded coat is getting darker and richer. Excited to see the results over the next month. Will do an updated review after a few months. As a bonus my horse absolutely LOVES this feed and comes running for it. He's not the pickiest eater but he does not just gobble food up.

We love it!

We have a barn of 9! 5 horses are in heavy work (warmbloods, OTTbs and a mustang) and all are on Tribute Resolve, we are lucky enough that our local feed supply

We have a barn of 9! 5 horses are in heavy work (warmbloods, OTTbs and a mustang) and all are on Tribute Resolve, we are lucky enough that our local feed supply can deliver on a hi-weekly basis. Most of our hard working horses are on 4 lbs of this a day, and 2 horses are on the 6lbs. We came off of the Triple crown senior gold to this and all the horses really packed on muscle and I love the extra vitamin E!

I have a 5 year old OTTB who is relatively an easier keeper. The main concern is to keep him from getting too hot. Tribute Resolve is the best grain I have found form him. It is gut friendly and he keeps his weight nicely with the only additional supplements being Tribute Tough as Nails and Magnagard. He gets 1.5qt twice a day and is in heavy work 5-6 days a week! Highly recommend!

My mare will be 28 in September, has Cushings and arthritis, and a touchy liver. I wanted to get her a feed that deals with all and although the NSC of this feed is higher than I want for her, she really likes it, is perky, moving well and bright eyed. She is SO picky, so glad when I find one she likes and that is also good for her. I would prefer she be on a lower NSC feed, but those often have no flavor and she ignores them..
