My thoroughbred ended up getting pretty slim. I had him on a weight gainer. Addition to 6 qts, but wasn’t actually working well. I was hesitant about putting him on something high in fat/protein, I have seen past horses on feed like that have behavior changes. This grain made all the difference. No behavior changes, he gained all his weight back, nice coat. If you’re thinking about weight gain for your horse go for it. This grain has been a life saver. He is currently on a scoop in a half 2x a day.

Their coats, top lines, and condition overall look so good, and I’ve been able to feed less than I was with more expensive feeds. People ask me all the time what I feed my horses, since even my old broodmares are dappled and have good muscling!

I started using Tribute, Kalm Ultra High Fat horse feed several years ago now, and this horse feed has been great. My horse has maintained his weight throughout the winter months and his coat condition looks great. This is a great horse feed for hard keeper.

My 25 yr old Friesian has a hard time chewing hay so it's easy for him to drop weight. This feed is soft, palatable and high fat with lots of vitamins. I pair it with K finish and my boy looks amazing in his older age with a great topline. I switched all my horses to Tribute feed and within 2 weeks they had all filled out and were super shiny.
